Macross F Nyan Nyan Clip Collection is a music video collection which shall feature eight music clips from the TV series and first film (False Diva), and shall also include new footage for this release. It's basically the Flashback 2012 of Macross Frontier.

There's a few more special extras,, for example a 'TV spot starring Ranka plus choreography footage starring 3D character version of Megumi Nakajima & May'n'.

Both the DVD and Blu-ray can be preordered on CDJapan.

Seeing as how the Blu-ray is region free, i'll easily be picking this up. The cost is just a little bit more then the DVD, which isn't bad at all.

If anyone's going to be in Tokyo next month, Nyan Cli is going to be shown at the Sunshine Cinema in Ikebukuro on Novemeber 26 and 27, and December 3 and 4. Tickets are ¥1000 and go on sale November 13.

I dunno, man...I'm beginning to get a bad feeling about this... The CG looks a little too CG for my taste...more like a Vocaloid vid than Macross F.

Obviously, I'm not going to judge until I see it...but I'm getting slightly nervous.

So, we'll be getting completely new video clips for the songs? Or are those scenes from movie two? In any case, looks pretty awesome to me.

Well, it says it's a mix of clips from the movie (movies...?) and TV series, with newly produced cuts. It's also got newly produced Ranka commercials, and interviews with Ranka and Sheryl.

Nothing specifically mentioned about movie 2, although...does anyone else find it strange that this is coming out BEFORE the second movie? Why not wait? It gives them more clips to choose from, does it not?

Yeah, unless some of the clips are really from movie two. Which seems... weird.

Yeah i'm not that much into CGI Sheryl. Doesn't look awful, just doesn't work that well for me. Maybe that opinion will change during the full version. My main worry is just hoping CDJapan will get this to me before Christmas, because shipping is going to be pretty crazy around that time.

Yeah i was thinking that while watching the CM. Was wondering if they just wanted something released at Christmas, though we have the Christmas album for that. :p

Gonna go with them being extras for the music videos. That's all. :p
