was looking for some good Mecha anime, but if u start searchin for such youll mostly find Macross, Gundam or NGE. if u know any good shows plz post them, thnx

Robotech = long but great story
full metal panic = great series

Kenrah Butoh Sai The Mars Daybreak - I had doubt when I first saw the title myself, but after seeing 4-5 episodes, I find this show really fun to watch just like Full Metal Panic. I really recomend this show. ^^

A sort of mecha type anime but with a twist.

Bakuretsu Tenshi- It has some good Mecha action. Not fully mecha anime though. But it's good, very good if you ask me.

Gasaraki - deep story, plenty of action, good characters, and intelligent.

Gundam 08th ms team - I know I know its a gundam but its completely different from the rest, jungle warfare with nice characters (no angst ridden teen pilots) most ralistic gundam series (storywise)

Gun Parade march - like someone mentioned its a good short series.

Area88 tv - no fighting robots no transforming jets, just regular ol dogfights with awesome cg. The mercenary aspect was cool with all pilots flying they're own choice of aircraft so for a mission you may see a phantom, a harrier, a mirage, and a mig in formation which would be odd any other way.
