Part One

11 O’clock
“I thought Kanon-kun wanted to pick us up at the harbor,” Battler said while rubbing his chin, climbing up the stairs to the mansion.
“I thought that too,” Jessica answered seemingly annoyed and frowned. She didn’t like it. Her parents always wanted to talk to him about manners. How he had to act, and what he should say in front of the rest of the family. It was a real pain. Also she was worried that her parents would say offending stuff to him like they always did. She sighed.
“Wahahaha! Jessica-chan, you’ll look as stressed as yer mother,” Hideyoshi interrupted the conversation playfully.
“Wahh! That’s not true!!”
“So, how should I arrange the rooms, Madam? Milady?” Gohda addressed them smiling. They were still in the rose garden.

11:05

“Well, a room for George-nii-san and Sayo, one for Battler and Ange-chan, another one for Rosa-oba-san and Maria, one for Kanon-kun and me…”
“You sleep in the same room!?” Battler shouted totally irritated.
“We are married,” the future heir to the family answered a little bit confused.
“But…the marriage was pushed and almost forced! And you are so young and…!!”
Jessica just shook her head as response.
“And what about the adults?” Gohda asked
Jessica shrugged and looked to her displeased mother. She still seemed to like that her daughter slept in the same room as Kanon.
“I think that the discussion will last almost all night. So you shall prepare rooms in the mansion.”

11:10
“Young master!” Kumasawa hurried to the boy who walked in the direction of the study.
“Kumasawa-san…what is it?” Kanon replied a little bit annoyed, due his dislike of the term ‘young master’.
“Milady wishes for your present in the guesthouse.” she said while smiling at him.
He nodded.
“Well, if you could inform the master of the arrival of everyone. I’ll go the guesthouse.”

11:30
“Geez! Jessica! Cheer up, goddamn it!!” Battler said frustrated, ignoring Ange’s happy laughter. She always thought it was fun when Onii-chan would get irritated.
“Just shut up!”
“He’s just a little late! No need to freak out!”
“Battler!! I warn you! Don’t piss me off!”
Sayo sighed and hoped that this wouldn’t go on the whole day. Her husband just laughed and shook his head.

11:50
“Okay!! No you’ve gone too far! Prepare for your doom, Battler!!”
“Tz! What are you planning on doing? Suffocate me with your boobs?”
“No!! I’ll beat the fu-“
“Jessica, stop it.”
A calm voice scolded the upset girl. Said girl paled instantly and then blushed. But before she could turn around and greet her husband, Sayo dashed forward and hugged him.
“Nee-san…” he grouched uncomfortably.
“It’s been awhile! How are you? Gosh, you’ve become even taller! That’s no good! Soon you’ll be as tall as George!”
“…Nee-san…” Kanon groaned annoyed.
“I’m sorry! But it’s been almost a whole year!!”
He only shook his head.
Then Jessica approached him.
“Why are you so late?”
Battler raised an eyebrow. He felt how the mood around Kanon and Jessica changed. He didn’t like it.
“…” Kanon sighed and then answered, “Your mother wanted to talk to me”
“About what!”
Battler heard the angry tone in Jessica’s voice and was a little bit surprised.
“The adult discussion. She wants me to attend it after lunch.”
Before the tension could get heavier any further Maria spoke excited
“Lunch!? Great!! Is Gohda cooking today!? Do you hear that Ange? That means we’re gonna get the most delicious food on the world!”
And in that single moment Battler realized something. Things have changed a lot due the last four years.

13:40
“Woah! I’m stuffed!” Battler said grinning and stretching his limps.
“Greedy bastard,” Jessica snarled, while all of the cousins and cousins-in-law went to the exit of the mansion.
“So you two will stay at the discussion?” Shannon asked smiling.
George and Kanon just nodded their heads.
“Aw, man! I thought we could go to the beach together. I’ll bet in a few hours it will start to rain!” Battler complained.
“Yes…that would have been great,” Maria whispered. She was a little bit sad. It’s not that it wasn’t fun with Jessica, Shannon, Battler and Ange, but with the others it would have been even more enjoyable.
“I’m very sorry,” Kanon apologized out of habit and slightly bowed his head.
“Stop that! Seriously!! You and your damn apologies!” Jessica scolded him instantly and laid a hand on his shoulder. Even after the marriage Kanon often acted if he was less worth then the other family members and apologized for almost everything he did.

13:45

“See ya at Dinner, okay?” Jessica asked grinning waving,
“Yup.”
George smiled at them and then closed the door of the mansion.

16:00
“Doctor Nanjo, how is father’s condition?” Krauss asked, closing his eyes.
“Even his strong will won’t last any longer. It’s a wonder he isn’t dead yet, though he isn’t really alive either. Most of the time he is sleeping.”
The attendances of the discussion only nodded their head.

Part Two

18:00 Dinner
Battlers grinning face vanished in an instance. The atmosphere was heavy and the tension that filled the adults was suffocating.
Even Kanon and George seemed odd. The only thing heard was the rain from the outside.
The silence in the dining room was so depressing that Battler wanted to change the mood with a bit of flirting.
“Excuse me? What was your name again?” Battler asked the unknown maid which was pouring in some tea into Kanon’s cup.
“Runon!” she almost shouted and due the surprise of being spoken to knocked over Kanon’s cup.
Cursing, Kanon stood up, trying to get the hot liquid out of his trousers.
“Young master!! I’m sorry!! I’m sorry!!”
Panicking, Runon got a napkin and tried to control the damage.
Battler almost started laughing if it weren’t for his aunt.
“How amusing…a servant helping the other.”
“Mother!!” George protested. He knew were this was going.
“What? I’m only telling the truth…right? Haha, Jessica-chan. you should keep your lovely husband closer. You don’t want him to elope with one of the same kind, do you?”
“Stop it, Eva!” Krauss raised his voice, sensing the outcome of this. But it was already too late.
“Tz! Isn’t your oh so perfect son married with a servant as well!? At least those two are allowed to bear the family crest. Your husband on the other hand…” Jessica’s tone was sharp and her glare was rather… dangerous. At least Battler thought that.
“Are you insulting my husband?!” Eva gritted her teeth and laid down her fork.
“I’m just saying. And what are you even angry, about? It’s not like you and Hideyoshi would ever succeed Grandfather; there’s no need to bear the crest.”
Jessica knew were to hit and wasn’t primly to hit her enemy’s weakest point. If someone dares to insult the ones she holds dearest she would defend them with anything she had.
“Jessica-chan!” Rudolf said nervously and hoped she would stop.
But his wife new better, it was already too late to stop those two.
“Excuse me?! Are you saying you and your filthy scum will succeed as the heir?! What a high promotion he got! From servant, no furniture, to the new heir!! I wonder if he was thinking about that while charming you!”
In that moment Jessica completely snapped. Eva had hit the bull’s eye.
Kanon was Jessica’s weakest point.
Since their relationship was made official, Eva couldn’t help but direct her anger from Sayo’s and George’s relationship at them, her mother and father were unsatisfied with it and always insulted him. They scolded him and drilled him, so he could become a good heir, but Jessica knew the truth they did that to increase the pressure on him and end their relationship. They were all against their love. And this caused a wound in Jessica’s heart, something that couldn’t be healed so easily. And saying that Kanon only married her for her wealth was something Jessica just couldn’t forgive.
She stood up in rage, her body shaking. She wanted to shout, to rant and…she felt burning in her lung and the itching in her throat.
Without saying anymore she stormed out of the room.
Battler was shocked and wanted to follow her, consul his cousin, and help her. But before he could do anything. Kanon spoke:
“If you would excuse me.”
The boy left.

18:20
Kanon opened the door to Jessica’s room, closed it behind him and then locked it up. He hated to be interrupted.
His wife looked up to him, tears straining her eyes.
“This is so unfair,” she sobbed. Kanon sat down beside her and gently ruffled through her hair. He smiled sadly.

21:00
“Gosh! You two took your time,” Battler said smiling nervously at them. Jessica had such a meek expression on her face and Kanon didn’t look that happy. He actually never did, Battler noticed. Except on the day of his marriage on that day he smiled like an idiot…so much that Battler was sure that he was on drugs or drunk.
“Did you two play some naughty games, or what?” he tried to ease the mood with his totally perverted joke.
“No,” Jessica said plainly, which caught Battler off guard.
“Don’t tell me you really did?!”
“No, you idiot!! Gosh, seriously is this the only thing you can think of?”
“Excuse me for having a healthy fantasy!”
“You call that healthy!? That’s just sick!”
“Just because your love life is totally boring doesn’t meant that my thoughts are sick!”
“My love life is totally fine!”
“Hmph, if you think so.”
“Just so you know, Kanon and I –“
“I don’t think we should elaborate this topic!!” Kanon said quickly, grimacing comically.
Battler smiled proudly that he was really able to change the mood of those two.
“Ne, Sayo-onee-chan, do you have a love life?” Ange asked innocently.
Sayo almost choked on her tea and started to cough violently.
“Ehehe, how about some card games?!” George tired to change the topic, feeling Kanon’s icy glare on him.

22:30
A hard fist hit George in the face.
“How dare you!!” Kanon shouted angrily and wanted to attack George again, but Battler was faster. With all his strength he grasped the rampaging boy. He only got angrier and angrier.
“I’LL KILL YOU! YOU BASTARD!!”

5th October

8:00
“Thanks, Genji-san,” Battler said while entering the mansion Genji just unlocked. His face paled instantly.

14:00
“That’s insane!” Battler said while gripping his teeth.
Battler couldn’t get rid of those horrifying images. His father, Hideyoshi-san, Runon-san, his grandfather, Gohda-san and Natsuhi-oba-san… That wasn’t fair! That wasn’t fair!
“I’ll go and get Sayo and George-onii-san,” Jessica said after a while. The married couple decided that it would be safer to actually part with the others and took a room in the mansion.
“Forget it. They wouldn’t answer me,” Kanon said, still angry. The fight of yesterday was still fresh in his mind and the fact that Sayo went with George made it even worse.

14:10
“What the…”
An eerie circle was painted on the door of Sayo and George’s room.
“Battler! You go and get help!” Jessica said panicking. From the remaining adults they heard that on the door to the main hall in the mansion, where the corpses were found, was some kind of magic circle with red paint. Now being confronted with something similar Jessica knew that had to act fast.
Battler stumbled backwards and then ran down the corridor.

14:20
When Battler and the remaining finally reached Sayo’s and George’s room, it was already opened. Jessica stood in the doorway, shaking; there was a garden tool in her hand. Battler saw the cut door chain on the floor.
George lied there on the floor, a strange looking stake in his head. Beside him was Sayo, a similar stake in her stomach.
Eva ran to George’s side shouting his name, denying the truth. Kanon just stood there and stared at his sister’s corpse.
Doctor Nanjo who hurried to the corpses to confirm the thing everyone already knew.

15:00
“It’s better that way,” Genji said and wanted to close the door. But before he did he gave a sympathetic nod to Kanon.
The remaining adults decided it would be safer for the kids if they locked them up in Kinzo’s study.
Battler gripped the key he got from Genji-san tight.

18:00
“What is it, Kanon?” Jessica asked sleepy and pulled his sleeve.
“Where is Maria-san!?” he said while looking around. She was supposed to be with Battler and Ange. But both were cuddled up together, no sight of Maria.
“Hey, Battler, wake up!”
“What is it!?”
“Where’s Maria?!”
Battler was confused. She should be there; they were locked up after all. In a hunch he searched for the key inside his pocket.
“What!?”

“I’ll search for her!”
Without leaving the others time to react. Kanon pulled out key, which he actually shouldn’t have, unlocked the door and then left quickly. The door closed again.

19:00
While gritting his teeth Kanon opened the boiler and threw both keys for the study inside.

6th October

10:00
“Captain!! We found another corpse!!”
The captain of the police squad gritted his teeth. That was the 13th corpse. Or was it the 14th? In his head, he started to remember all of the corpses they found.
At first they found 6 in the hall.
Then they found Ushiromiya Eva with her face completely smashed somewhere near the study. They found three survivors there: Ushiromiya Jessica, Battler and Ange. Locked up and totally shocked.
Then they found the corpses of Ushiromiya George and Sayo.
After that, they found Ushiromiya Kyrie. Her face was smashed as well. They also found Ushiromiya Krauss locked up in a guest room.
Then they found the servant Genji and doctor Nanjo. Both were found near the boiler room.
And the last victim was in the boiler room, Ushiromiya Rosa. She wasn’t nice to look at.
They also found two other survivors in the boiler room, covered in blood: Ushiromiya Kanon and Maria.

The captain shook his head. He didn’t know what to make of this.

Generic:

5. George was then directly staked in the head.
6. The killer left.
-George/Shannon's murdurer was not in the room when Jessica opened the door.
-The door is a perfectly normal door.

Yes, they (ange, battler, Jessica) were locked up the whole time

Found near the study, a large wound in her stomach she was probably shot with a gun. She lost a lot of blood and didn't die instantly. She had a wedding ring in her hand

Some of the stakes and wounds were added after all of the killings
