Where Is My Flame Haze Gundam!?!?!?!
Where is my proportionally correct HGUC Hi-Nu ?
MMM Zwei looks sweet, Eins still sitting on the floor waiting to be made hahaha
Huh? No HGUC Nu Gundam?
He said Hi-Nu, not Nu.
And yes, where is the original line art Hi-Nu kit from Bandai in styrene (not that I mind resin kits). I don't want no anorexic wannabe. |
What is another name for a "Gundam Marker"? I was at my local hobby store and was looking for something for panel lining, but I wasn't sure what to get. Is it just a fine point marker?
Yes, that's all a Gundam Marker is, an over-priced fine-tip marker.
panel lining ? Did you mean the one we use to draw the black line on the kit ?
It's the one that has blue body and black lid , with the phrase "スミれいよう (ブラック)" right below the phrase "GUNDAM MARKER" on it body ( actually , the word "よう" was written in Kanji but my PC isnt capable of typing Kanji at this time :( ) |
I FOUND THE ANSWER TO PAINT PROTECTION: Tamiya Top Coat.

Technical pens can do the same thing as a Gundam marker, for cheaper and in different colours and diameters. All you have to do is let the ink dry for a proper amount of time and seal it in a clear coat of your choosing. Not to mention technical pens take floor drops better than a Gundam marker and last longer as well.
Not that I believe in markers anyway. I switched over the paint washes long time ago. |

Thanks for the replies guys. So basically I need an acrylic-based ink marker, Gundam Marker, or a technical pen with some seal.
And to not make it look so fat, use the erase method and erase extra off the top after using it.
