Goddamn, I don't remember Oreimo being this...I dunno...pandering, last season. It's getting kind of ridiculous and it's only 5 episodes in. They just need to bang already and get it over with. This is why I hate high school level romance in anime, it's all the same garbage, between a boy and girl or a freaking brother and sister, GROW UP ALREADY.

That being said, the end was good and it was nice seeing Kuroneko finally. It would be nice if they focused on group scenes or even Kirino/Kuroneko stuff going forward as I find them much more enjoyable than the Harem aspects of the show, but I doubt it. They have their shipping/"wincest" audience to please afterall.

Good episode, less boring compared to the old ones. It feels a bit rushed but finally the serie is back on the right way. :)

Laughing so hard at the "My Honey" part XD

I found the episode really charming. The relationship between them is really interesting for me, and cute if I must say so.

And them lining up for for Summer Comic, it looked like something for a Tokyo Dome concert =O
Though, not too sure what the event was.

Awkward episode(It felt really weird seeing a "fake" dere Kirino in the beginning and the flow of the episode was a bit off) but Kuroneko saves the day.:D
I liked the Kyou Kuro interactions towards the end of the episode as well.

Silaqui 2013-05-04 14:32

I really liked this episode, because it reestablished the triangle Kirino, Kuroneko and Kyousuke. Or you could say it set it in stone. Now I'm curious to see how everything will turn out.

Greetings Silaqui.

I want to remind all novel readers that ALL novel comparisons of any kind must be behind properly-labelled spoiler tags, even if you think you're not "spoiling" anything. Failure to do so can result in warnings, infractions, and bans, per the Spoiler Policy.

That aside...

As always. People, who read the novel trying to find the flaws in adaptations. Just submit at last that the book and the anime is two different formants and 100% satisfying adaptation is impossible. You, people, always found something to call it fail.

hmm... weakest episode for me by far. Enjoyment rating went down. Giving it a 7/10 rating.

Ushio the Omega 2013-05-04 15:16

So the first 4 episodes are LN vol 6 and this episode is now much of vol 7?

and is the second season supposed to be all the LN's including the yet to be released vol 12?

because this will sell easily enough to make a 3rd season profitable afterall.

Micromancer 2013-05-04 15:45

1)this episode would end up better if that stranger at the end was introduced....

2)those 5 or 6 secs kyou-kuro staring at each other gave me a dokidoki calming feeling :p

3)

It's not a question of profit (for the anime alone), it's about timing. It's a marketing push on multiple formats: novels, manga, PS3 game, anime, etc. So having the anime end now at around the same time as the novel and the same time as the game is coming out (etc.) keeps the hype high. So even if they could have added more seasons, there's a marketing benefit to getting it all done now. So (as they already announced) this season will end the story.

There was no need for that date

I mean are models slaves in Japan?

Just refuse politely, the manager can't force kirino because she is a free model(unlike ayase who works for a company)

And in my country 15 years old people can't live overseas on their own.

Well, sure but:

a) Kirino trapped herself in that excuse, and made that the sole justification. She could have just said "I don't want to", but sometimes turning down good job opportunities for "arbitrary" reasons can have consequences too. It seems like the agent was sort of pestering her by trying to make "offers she couldn't refuse".

b) It was also an excuse for a date with Kyousuke. (I mean, look at how upset she was when he said he wouldn't do it again.)

FlareKnight 2013-05-04 16:07

Nice try by Kyousuke using an eroge dialogue option in that fake date with Kirino. Only downside was that she lent him that game :).

At the very least that early part where Kuroneko saw Kyousuke and Kirino together seemed to lead to the thought of "gotta step up my game here." Well after teh insane shock of seeing them walking together like that :heh:.

You almost thought Kirino might pick up something from those brief Kyousuke and Kuroneko moments, but will have to wait for another day to see any extreme reactions. Was happy for Kuroneko, a team effort blew her expectations out of the water. Bit of a better success rate going from 90% left over to selling out.
