It's the basis of the comedy. Also, volume 1 is very mild in comedy compared to later volumes.

I for one sincerely regret not understanding Japanese and therefore most likely never getting to enjoy this series until completion.

does Tasuka stay with Aguri? does MC end up with Tendo? what happens to Chiaki? etc

Shame this is really overlooked. I fell in love with the series when Keita and Chiaki the couple who are bounded by red string of fate always bickering like old marriage couple.

Hum, so, there is nothing decided then. I wonder if Keita will end up with Chiaki after this "confession", even though he still have feelings for Karen. For me, both are equals so, I don't really mind who will win that much. It'll make me sad for the loser though...

Trust me I don't recommend you guys read this series even if there is translation, the series all about misunderstanding adding on to misunderstanding. Frustration is all you feel.
