Guilty Crown: Lost Christmas is a visual novel spinoff being put together by Nitroplus (whose prior co-productions include the VN of Steins;Gate and the LN series of Fate/Zero). It is set for release in Japan on the 31st of May 2012, for 4800 yen.

At present, few details have surfaced for the game; it is reported to be set in 2029 (the time of the "Lost Christmas" outbreak itself) and include an alternate protagonist, Scrooge (who, like Shuu, seems to also possess a Void Genome) as well as Carol (the lead heroine, who looks supiciously like Inori) and Present (a mysterious girl who fate seems to be intertwined with the leading pair).

Scrooge? His name is Scrooge? Well, I guess it could be worse. His name could have been Howard.

Also, Present? I haven't even seen this game or the girl and already I like this character.

Seems to be aimed at 15 or over.

(Which may help if it ends up getting an anime adaptation of its own, à la Fate/Zero.)

15+ It will not be 18+ since like someone said before. It will be on the same scale as Chaos;Head, and Steins;Gate, a Nitro+ classic with no 18+ content.

Naturally I will read it when it comes out, everything related to the GC universe is welcome. Even though it is a short, single storyline will be interesting to see how/if it connects seamlessly to the story of the anime series.

And in typical Nitro+ fare, Kanako Itou will sing the theme song.

Who composes? If it's Ryo, it will be interesting, to see how his typical style goes with Itou's voice...
