Edit: Also Yamiyo ni Odore, although the VN doesn't have an english patch.

Visual Novels:

The Muv Luv trilogy. Mostly so people can understand what they are missing out even with the TE anime.

Manga:

Gunnm. The OAV just did not do justice to the manga. If JoJo can finally gets its TV series, why not Gunnm?

VN:
Muv Luv. As improbable and risky as it is, but one can dream...

Saya no Uta, because I want dem beasts animated.

Manga:
Akame ga Kiru for me as well. It's just awesome with those character designs and I think the story structure would fit an anime well.

GATE. Because it would be awesome.

Most of all, though, Blame. Megastructures would be given justice if animated. Though it would be a very quiet series.

Masada's God series and Sakurai's Steampunk series for VN of course

I think imma second Katawa Shoujo. Just curious as to how they would be able to handle something straight from 4chan since they have already green-lit a 2ch brainchild.

VN: Katawa Shoujo.

Manga: Denpa Kyoushi and Nanamaru Sanbantsu.

Tsukihime and Umineko would make for some very good anime if the studio in charge would get it right. The latter would be a little easier but with the former there's no harm in focusing on one arc and heroine.

Would love to see a well produced adaptation of Unbalance X Unbalance, sure the last part isn't as good as the rest.. but it's not like it will get animated anyway lol. Also AKB49 - Renai Kinshi Jourei would be fantastic, just no CGI dance scenes please.

I would like to see Katawa Shoujo getting adapted into an anime and it was nice (I only played the all-ages version of the game known as "Act 1"), though it wouldn't be without changes :
- the title will be translated as "One side girl" instead of "Disfigured girl"
- just like most eroge adaptations, the sex scenes will be removed and the fanservice will be more or less toned down depending on the plot.
- The show will either follow one particular route or will just tune over the omnibus format.

Omnibus format seems good to me. "Canon route" is not so bad, either.

Snarky MC tends to be the trend nowadays. But from what I know, the MC in Katawa Shoujo isn't.
