im not sure what this series is like, it looks like comedy but the summarys feel like a serious story, and i think the director excels at comedy, i mean in anime form setohana is the funniest ive seen, carnival phantasm was funny too, he even made persona 4 to be funnier than haganai, past fall.

The covers remind me very much of 約束の方舟 [THE ARK OF THE SKY]

Yeah, I'm not sure what to make of this either (And I can never get the second preview to work)... this was always one of the series I looked forward to most for the summer season, the summary and the artwork used for the Summer 2012 charts made it look like a warm, classical fairy tale type story, but the first preview looks kinda sophomoric and crude, like it came from South Park or Adventure Time or something. I'll stay optimistic because I enjoyed Kamisama Dolls so much, but the preview certainly is baffling.

I don't want to spoil it but I can assure the viewer that
If you really want to see some decent stories, you will not be disappointed

One other special thing about this novel/anime is
NOBODY has a name - I, Grandpa, Assistant, Friend A, Friend B ...
and fairies has alias only

The explanation about the headless chiken makes me want to watch it more.

Maybe this can be the anime I like most this year, at least I hope so.

Watched the 3 trailers regarding this series and LOLWUT? Headless chicken smoking cigars, D: trollface harvest faeries (or whatever they are). This looks like one of them "lol Japan" random comedies, but it actually got me interested because it doesn't seem like one of those typical moe comedies.

However, Seiji Kishi... and emo.ripe...

I shall make an exception though, because the PVs had me laughing. I'll just make sure I get stoned first :p

The PVs also reminded me that I should go finish Tsuritama...

Likewise... Kemal didn't let me down with Bantorra, but it seems well, deeply peculiar at first glance.

Hmm, am I the only one who keeps thinking that the art/colors look a bit like Kobato? As far as I can tell they don't share any staff so I could be just crazy, maybe it's just the similar hair colors that keep throwing me off. ^^

due to unknown reason, human population was decreased drastically
big cities were gone, electricity was gone, culture & lifestyle was gone
human now live in small self-sustained village with little contact with others
however, human are not alone
cute little fairies now populate the whole world
these little creatures posses unimaginable technology but short memory span
they have more interest on sweets than world domination
our cute lovely heroine, as an arbitrator between races, have to deal with the adorable fairies
