I've always thought he had a thing for Mei.. and that he was relieved to know she was not a ghost cause now he'll be hitting on her. :heh::heh:

I guess it was just pure curiosity.. then he was suspicious of his classmates bullying Mei then his curiosity went out of hand and turned into concern. now that she's really HUMAN, he can spend time with her all he wants and not make her feel alone..:heh::heh:

Mikuni Miharu from KissXSis, which reminds me of Nao Yorihime (of YnS), and

Nao Yorihime (of YnS), which in turn also reminds me of Mari (of GC)

Certainly, her character (and the story) is interesting... I'll just have to buy a pirated DVD of this anime series to find out.

It seems that Manny Pacquiao will now reach his downfall... he never takes Timothy Bradley seriously, and he's more busy in frickin' politics than his boxing career. :uhoh: :uhoh: I'm starting to lose my faith in this guy.

Misaki exists but I'm not sure how to put a dolls eye on a person lol

I thoroughly enjoyed Mei, both in the anime and the manga. I haven't read the novel though.

THINGS I LOVE ABOUT MEI BESIDES HER CUTENESS (cause I'm female)
She acts WAY more mature than her age dictates
Her generally stoic attitude (I wish I could hide my emotions as well as her)
How she handled being the one to be non-existing, that's emotional torture & she was so strong.

The thing I've been wondering about though, is whether or not she and Koichi have acknowledged the fact that they LIKE one another on a romantic level.

I hope that someone can answer my question if they have read the novel(s) as to whether or not these two ever trod on that ground or if they don't in keeping with the whole mysterious vibe to the story itself.

I think we'll never truly know what they feel for each other, but I think it's clear that she and Koichi have a very deep friendship going on at the very least, one that may or may not be bordering on actual romantic interest.

I was hoping someone who read the novel could answer whether or not Mei & Koichi get together or acknowledge their feelings for one another. Their actions scream of having romantic feelings for one another. I agree they've got a deep friendship though
