SAO, Shana, Index, AW, Horizon, C3, Okami-san, Mahouka, Durarara, Strike The Blood, Black Bullet, Kino...
...Definitely not too much to ask please  |
No, I'm pretty sure it's one of Sega's studios that would be developing it, seeing as they're publishing it and French Bread are already busy promoting/editing UNiB.
Also, this was a conversation I had about five days ago: http://i.imgur.com/lPTsMsO.png . :v Spoiler:

I'm so buying this.
|
I'm excited, but I want to see more of the roster first...
|
Quick question: What platform is this for again?

Honestly though, what took them so long to come up with this idea? Or maybe they had this idea already, but decided to introduce this now that Dengeki's brand name is flying high.
I hope the muggles aren't actually fighting. Maybe as support characters, but I honestly have no idea what effects characters like Kirino are supposed to have. |
It was made specifically for the 20th anniversary of the publishing label.
And they could have Chiyo summon the other cast mebers to do things in battle or something. |

I don't think they will take too many characters from one series, but it really is a pity to omit so many characters from Index and Horizon. Then again, if Claire Stanfield's in the game... |
i want this

Yeah, definitely looking forward to this. Hopefully we see a good amount of representation in this. Especially for non-support/assist characters. Too many good characters to choose from.
|
Now what can I say? If it comes out on console, I'm getting it! (together with the console!)
need to wait for Oct-6 for more news. |

I doubt it would be for a Microsoft console, at least not exclusively, due towards the fact that almost nobody in Japan right now is making games for them. I also doubt it would be handheld only if they're attempting to make it a competitive game, which they seem to be with the intended loketest: The best way to play a fighting game competitively is to use a stick, and that's basically unavailable for a Vita. Even if they weren't, I don't actually think that anybody has ever ported an arcade fighting game to a handheld exclusively, so it's pretty safe to say that's improbable. So that basically leaves us with PS3, PC, or next generation (or just no console port at all, but if a Leaf crossover fighter (Aquapazza) can have enough popularity to be ported, then this can as well).
|
Didn't the Vita have a Blazblue game?
|
Yes, and there have been more handheld versions of arcade fighters, but I said exclusively: Extend was also ported towards the 360 and PS3.
