Wolf's Rain 27-30
 

Bones has finally put a release date for the last 4 episodes, which were going to be DVD only. 2 disks with 2 episodes each, scheduled for Jan 23 and Feb 29. Can't wait to see them :)

As long as each episode consists of entirely new animation, I'll be happy as a pig in s#!@.

Only 2 episodes per dvd? >_> Hmmm.... Boohoo, my wallet... oh well, must see the ending! ^_^

So Ep. 26 isn't the last episode (I'm only on episode 19)?

Ep 26 was the last episode shown on TV. Ep 30 will be the final episode of the series. The reason for this is because of the month long break they took on the series (showing the recap eps instead). They still have a full original 26 ep commitment to fill, hence the 4 DVD only episodes.

I have been waiting for this for so long now it seems.....the series was spectacular..not counting the recpaps. I hope that they tie up all the ends and really do an amazing peice of work to end it all.

No wonder they had those episodes. I thought they were trying to save money or something.

Yea, the recap eps were horrible, I'm glad we'll almost be able to watch the new eps. ^^

Comes out on Jan 23 and Feb 25 respectively.

I was under the impression that because of the fact that alot of fans weren't satisfied with the original ending the added another ending or an epilogue in those 4 episodes, I could be mistaken however. Personally I loved Wolf's Rain but somehow the end wasn't all that (or I just didn't get it)

Any idea why 2 episodes would be 47$? Will it become (alot) cheaper soon?

That's is the usual price for Japanese dvds.

You do realize those links I posted are for R2 DVD's (i.e. Japanese audio/no Subtitles)? You won't see the R1's for those eps for quite sometime, since the show hasn't even come out here at all yet. The only way they'll "end up on eBay" as you say will be as crappy HK bootleg DVD's.

Just so everyone knows. The word has come down from on high about Wolf's Rain 27-30. We are not listing it on AnimeSuki. It is either licensed or else so close to it that we can't tell the difference.
