Anyway, not too keen on Setsuna's Flag, seeing how crappy the original HG Flag frame is.

I heard they were actually pretty solid in "Bird Mode" (for lack of a better term).

Like I mentioned, I'm afraid the Braves will suffer the same floppyness and loose parts Susanowo/Masurao had, so I'll probably leave mine in MA mode.

Yup, MA > Bird. :)

That's what I'll do as well; it's usually what I do anyway with kits like that (except Harute:heh:).

Well I didn't know the term "MA Mode" existed until now.

LoweGear 2010-10-13 22:45

Actually the correct term for Gundam 00 mechs is "Flight" mode. :heh:

bio9205 2010-10-13 22:46

Kyrios/Arios/Harute were all known to have MA modes, so I guess that term applies for all. It's what I've been calling them for the past 2 years anyway. Someone correct me if I'm wrong?

EDIT: LoweGear beat me to it. Anyway, if I remember correctly, MA mode was referred to in Kyrios/Arios/Harute's HG boxes.

HG Kyrios Manual
HG Harute Manual

Both call it "Flight Position" actually.

GN0010 Nosferatu 2010-10-13 22:52

Lets try Flight Position tonight baby!

bio9205 2010-10-13 22:53

Ah. My bad, then.

Anyway, the design of the Braves is really growing on me. I'm contemplating on getting the Standard Test Type for HG, and Graham's for RD. That green is SO lovely.

I know this isn't the right thread for this, but...

Why not now?

Spoiler for 00 Qan[T]:

Here's hoping this set does contain effect parts for the Sword Bits, at least for the circle formation.

Now that there are no new announcements for this set such as a special edition, I think I can make my preorder

Extreme Gundam is HGUC? What the hell? I thought it was just a game exclusive unit not set in the Universal Century.

He's also going to be good friends with Nekki Basara...my interest in that unit just dropped even lower with that guitar beam rifle.

Aside from that, wow I'm happy to see all the Wing Boys with MG model kits. Are those ust simple kit bashes or are they going to be actual releases? Let's hope Celestial Being would get the same treatment few years down the road.

LoweGear 2010-10-14 03:08

The actual models on display for the Heavyarms, Sandrock and Shenlong are actually the 1/100 kits but with conversions. However their signs label them as "MG", thus this is more like Bandai teasing us with the possibility of these designs getting MG releases down the road. It ties in with their proclamation that the MG Deathscythe EW will be using a frame that can be used for the entire Gundam Wing line. And with their newly released Gundam Wing media currently running ( The Endless Waltz: Glory of the Defeated manga and Frozen Teardrop novel ), it would seem like a good idea to capitalize on the Wing line as much as they can now.

helois 2010-10-14 03:37

thank you LoweGear!

Bandai from a side improve the MG with the 00Q,to the other side where there are a "mass produced" MG Wing lines..

Chiu_fan 2010-10-14 03:40

But what about an MG Wing Gundam Zero TV ver.? Couldn't they just use the same frame? They're basically the same right?

Also, hoping for MG versions of Gundam Epyon and the Tallgeese series.

Unlike the Ver. Ka's which share the exact same internal body design, the MG Wing and Wing Zero TV versions are not only externally different, but their mechanisms are slightly different as well, especially with the leg transformation. Hence they'll need a while to design a frame for the MG Wing Zero TV if they ever get around to it.

In regards to the Nobel, there's no reference to the Berserker mode. So I take it that the hair and the hoops will have to wait for the variation.

But, neverthless, people will have....fun with it as was with the case of the Archer
