I expected Space 2069, also known as Space: Above and Beyond. That series was the closest thing to "Vietnam In Space".

so i am guessing Lost in Space and Buck Rogers is on the drawing board at the moment.

They did Lost in Space already

that was almost 10 yrs ago and was a movie.

There was a TV pilot as well....it was cancelled. The set went to Battlestar Galactica as the Battlestar Pegasus.
