There will be a one hour Fullmetal Alchemist special! SWEEET!

Unless something happens and FMA doesn't air next week, the hour special will either be a superlong episode 40 or a duo airing of episode 40 and 41. For you doubters and disbelievers, I got this from Bones's news. It's Japanese, but it's still accurate! :)

I am EXCITED. I hope that it won't consist of half filler or something because that would be awful. I hope it's an hour chock full of plot.

Oh and by the way, it won't ACTUALLY be an hour for us, because this hour in Japan includes commercials.

Eh, no where on the site says anything about hour long specials..

Everything is normal. Maybe your friend misunderstood because on June 24th episode 42 will be airing along with a new opening and ending theme song.

will this be ep.s 41 and 42 then, not just 1 ep thats 40 mins? if the current AND new OP and EDs are showing, and it's proven that they air on ep 42. unless i miscalculated, ep. 39 will air the 9th or 10th (dunno if eps air usually on fri or sat), then ep. 40 will air the 16th/17th, then it'd haveta be ep 41 and 42 on the 24th, right?

Moreover Ep.42 has new OP and ED.

firstly, this is one time i don't wanna be right. second, NO, IT'S NOT GOOD NEWS!! haha, just kidding, it's fine, but it'd be BETTER NEWS if they showed just the regular-sized ep. 41, then a super long 40 min ep. 42!!!

....dammit, just thought of something. they're still gonna show ep. 43 the week after, right? they're not gonna skip that week?

Well, if they're doing like they did with Naruto, they're going to skip the episode after. But let's hope they won't, because I get abstinence without my weekly FMa-dose! :)

But it is a double-episode, not an extra long episode, is it?
