Anime has been announced long time ago but the thread hasnt been made yet. So here it is.

I looked up across various upcoming anime threads by advanced research and it seems like the show didn't have one.

I didn't know that this one is also getting an anime. I usually didn't bother to look at new announcement anime and just wait for a thread to pop up.

Well good news but since when was it announced? cast? studio?

The anime was actually announced like last year in 2011.

Studio is still unknown and also when it would air is unknown. But at earliest it would possibly come out on January 2013. But not before that.

There is nothing on the site yet.

The manga has a different artist so I never noticed, but these character designs are from Tsunako isn't it, aka the same character designer as Hyperdimension Neptunia.

From what I know of the manga, this is going to be a very odd series isn't it? :heh:

I have read the manga, but I can't quite stand of Sid's denseness. I'll still watch it if anything other than that flaw.

I wonder who will voice the the main characters.

I'm happy there is finally an update for this. Even if there's no actual information at least it's not an abandoned project which I was worried about.

I am so glad that Tohka's seiyuu was one of my two predictions come true. The rest aren't bad choices either.

The anime site stated: "Year 2013, start!!". I think the anime may start in Winter 2013 or Spring 2013.

.......other than Kotori and Kurumi the other characters look meh.......hope they can fix that

I'm so right that Marina Inoue and AIC are starring on this and the visuals looks lovely. Too bad Faylan wouldn't perform the opening theme, but I really don't know who Sweet ARMS were. Anyways, great news.

I have a bad feeling about AIC PLUS doing this...and also the director...

The design is good, compared to Haganai'sgod awful keyvisual and colors which was enough to start a flaming thread when it got released because was nothing like Buriki's style and forced Asako Nishida to improve it asap or else face the fandom's wrath.

I have nothing against AIC+ but with that director that did School Days :heh::heh::heh:.

I know where the bad feelings came from.

Don't worry this is not a choose-one-girl-or-die but a comedic with action series and the animation from him is above average.

Seems interesting enough so im looking forward too it.

Forget the director,the writer's been behind some of JC staff's most controversial (to stay polite) adaptations like Aria the Scarlet Ammo and Yumekui Merry. :heh:

He's also the director of Jormungand, which is a very good adaptation. The problem with School Days wasn't the direction, it was the content.

No, I'm not worrying about the animation... AIC+ has consistent production values
in their series, like in asobi and ga... They just tend to select shitty directors in their series...
I think School days was a very good adaptation though, they just followed what happened in the game and there's also Jorgenmund...

but yeah... with Majikoi and other stuff...

lol, haganai's kinda weird... when they do far-away shots, it looks like soranoto but when they do a close-up, it suddenly becomes buriki's character design!
I guess that's the reason why they changed filters for the second season

Indeed, the PV looks freakin' awesome and if they keep this sort of quality up throughout the series I'd say we'd have a winner here on eye-candy, plot or no plot.

Well, I think the is series has a long planning since its announcement when Volume 2 got released.

Now the question is how many episode will this series have? Its pretty much confirmed it will adapt the first 3 volumes.

They did a good job keeping the art similar to Tsunako's art, even in motion. It looks pretty nice. I also love characters like Origami, so I have to watch this :heh:.

that's.... unexpected. It gives you high expectation on the adaption. It looks totally awesome for a pv and gives high hopes for the anime.

Is there a given number of episode already or how many cours will it be?

I don't like rushed adaptation.

Judging by the fact that the pv had scenes of the first 3 novels, I'd guess it's a 1 cour series. Also since there's only 5 total novels at the moment I'd say 1 cour is the most we could get.

Knowing aic+, I think the quality will be consistent...

What has AIC+ done before?

See, we have those generic as crap school life scenes so obligatory of light novels, the kind I've learned to avoid like the plague. But just look at those Tsunako designs and that INCREDIBLE quality.

This is actually AIC Plus+, and their first main show.

The writer and director has me petrified and overly cautious.

For those who have no idea about the series but want to know how it is:
Evangelion (replace angels with bishoujos and Eva Units with Strike Witches) + TWGOK = Date A Live.

Well if the PV is any indication, it seems that this would be much better than i thought, although there are some points that i don't really like or bothers me

- Kotori's face looks much manlier, especially the last cut
- Tohka and Origami fight scene looks really weak and lazy
- Yoshino's Angel is much bigger than the LN version,i think it was supposed to be only about 3 meter

EDIT: And i'd like to point that i hate Shido's face in the characters introduction part
