While I watched the episode... al I can say for the moment is... Hitagi disturbs me. Anyway, Tsukihi (Nngghhh) and Nadeko (Nngghhh X 2) were worth enough to make this episode for me.... well, Mayoi too.
Now, time to call for the police--! |
Damn it, why is that Hitagi is so ignorable in the story but her seiyu is soooooo awesome!!!!
THAT OP!!!! |
Someone noticed Koyomi gave Hachikuji a wedgy when they were fighting?
|
The OP... forgot to post it:
|
So tempted to watch that OP...must resist-
fuck it, I'm watching it! |
it's BACK!!!! the sisters and Mayoi! crying tears of joy.
The uncontrollable ahoge and the super S Hitagi. Drinking it first then letting him drink the droplet in her fingers HNGGG!!! EDIT: Watching the raw proves more that it's really hard to watch this type of show with only the raws. But oh well the super lolicon arararagi-san and hachikuji manage to entertain me on it's first episode. |
First episode delivers with A+ dialgoue you expect from this series. I've really no complaints (well, maybe not having an ED yet could be one of them).
Hachikuji scenes probably stole the episode, just for that courage conversation. Was Araragi always this perverted towards school girls? Staying far away from novel material, so i can freely enjoy this season. & yes, that water should have been dripping of her toes. Finger fetish is boring. |
I love that OP for some reason. And if anyone wants me to give an episode recap before the subs come out I'll do it. Or are they already?.

-Adding honorifics
-Uses onii-chan -Biting tongue instead of stuttering Damn it....I have to give my seal of approval to the Crunchyroll guys. Honestly I was expecting the worst, but luckily it seems they actually did put their best guys on here. They didn't dodge the references either. (BTW, the librarian line is a reference to R.O.D) |
SHAFT!
Senjougahara! Hachikuji! Arrararararragi! Welcome back. You were missed. |
Animation got higher again....
Did Tsukihi was really that hot? As always Hachikuji is a good girl! |
Delicious conversations.
Not much has actually happened, though. Gotta give props to CR for a good translation job. Hitagi OP? That's weird. Is every character going to get an OP then? Animation certainly has got bumped up a notch since Bakemonogatari. 「偽物語」をアニメにする勇気 |
Great talk with Hachikuji. Both hilarious and heartwaming. Great way to start the series.
It's kind of funny how Araragi's dilemma in whether to tell his sisters that he's a vampire is very similar to Natsume's issue of telling his foster parents that he can see yokai (Natsume's Book of Freinds). Both come to conclusion that whilst it might be easier on them personally, it would be less easier for the people they want to tell. |
Although on the other side of the coin, it can be seen as taking all the burden onto yourself when presumably your family wants to share that with you.
|
I bet the fans of Kana Hanazawa were real hissy at having to wait another week to see their favourite character of hers. Then again, that could also apply to the fans of Eri Kitamura as well.
|
was Araragi always a lolicon to Hachikuji?
It is pretty interesting that Hachi remains wandering even though she isn't 'lost' anymore. |

Ah yes, this was the reason I decided to watch Bakemonogatari, and I'm so glad that I did. Episode 1 was awesome, if not a little too easy going. I enjoyed it nonetheless.
Koyomi and Senjougahara! I just love her abusive words. Something tells me that she’s actually protecting Koyomi from something or someone. I guess the whole act is a bonus. Hachikuji’s conversations with Koyomi in this episode were pretty amusing. But most importantly, the weird head tilts, ‘black screen’s, signage, and the effective usage of colour are all back! That just reminds me why I love SHAFT’s work ~ I was surprised to see how good a job CR did with the translation/subs. |
