It was so......shinier before.The green part I mean.Oh well......:(

I have heard Mr Color thinner can get rid of topcoat but best to do your own research before trying that out.

Ngee Khiong has images of the upcoming HGUC Unicorn up. Pretty impressive IMO.

Hmm........I have that as well and have thought about it before, and it sounds like it will work in theory.

I've heard another suggestion of just sanding the part as well.

GrimmReaperNL 2009-09-23 15:34

wouldn't you damage the (clear)part by sanding it?

You can sand clear parts, just sand it using successively higher grits, to remove as much of the rough sanding spots as possible. When you are close to done, the clear piece will look cloudy like the following:

At this point, either spray a clear gloss, or dip the part in some clear gloss. Future floor polish works as an acrylic based clear gloss. I used Mr Super Clear Gloss which is a lacquer based product and airbrushing it onto the part and this will fill in the small scratches leftover by the high grit sanding, and the clear parts will go from cloudly to perfectly clear. keeping in mind that you sanded with successively higher grits of sand papers

Long post short, you can sand clear parts, just clear coat it when you're done sanding.

I was bored at home earlier this week when the wife left for England on vacation, so I started kitbashing for the heck of it.

From the original, chess-based concept art for the Gundams before most of Gundam 00's development was finalized.

GN0010 Nosferatu 2009-09-25 00:51

Is there anymore?

Beats me. There should be, I just don't know if its been revealed to the internet like the Pawn Gundam was.

Gevurah 2009-09-25 01:55

Exia First Type reminds me of Freeza's third transformation, lol.

LoweGear 2009-09-25 06:01

Technically, the official name is as mentioned in that scan, "Gundam Exia First Type", and was first shown in the first issue of Bandai Plastic Model Information magazine. The source for the "Pawn Gundam", whilst extensive, has yet to be confirmed.

darkstrife 2009-09-25 19:36

just had a massive shopping spree at HLJ, after looking at the scans for MG Blue Astray it looks really tempting as well lol, however does any1 know if it would come with a mini stand for the uber huge sword???

LoweGear 2009-09-25 22:09

From what I gather of the pics of the Blue 2nd Revise a while ago, it seems to have its sword supported by a blue Action Base stand, and blue is one of the colors that have not been made available for retail. So in likelyhood, they'll probably be including a stand for it.
