Episode 1
OK, so I was prepared for the worst... and at the beginning I did fear I was right... but then thank god I wasn't. :D I admit I loved this episode - aside of the extended "here are all the Heavens guys you're supposed to like except we don't even know who the hell most of them even are, and the ones we do know are bleh" part in the beginning, but once that was over it was pretty much return to form as the good old goofy, charming, over-the-top UtaPri. :D It made me laugh out loud a number of times (something the previous season didn't do), and the flashback scenes made me go "aww". And at least it seems like this time STARISH won't be sidelined... Also, GDI OTOYA WHY :heh: This had to be an inside joke on the writers' part. The ending sequence was also hilarious, like "girls, in case you forgot: these are your ships! Here, have a shippy moment for each!" :heh: |
the camp is back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its back Haruka really have such a big harem and all ready have to write 3 new songs
|
Haruka, the harem queen. The scenes with all three groups vying for her attention was pure gold.

They should've subtitled this episode: Everyone wants to f**K Haruka!
MAN I got a reallll rapey vibe from HEAVENS. Especially Megane. Got some flashbacks to Diabolik Lovers there. I just realized that Daisuke Ono and Ryohei Kimura voice two of the HEAVENS members... Y'all know Haruka will write the bestest, most grammy worthy, awesome, loving song EVAH for the Fish of course! |

Make that 7 because in addition to those three, our heroine now has to write a song for each duet pair (1 Fish, 1 Heavens). Nobody is happy. Can we just get Quartet Night? I'm starting to find them helluva more interesting than the Fish or the rapey douchebags of Heavens.:heh: |

I hope this episode was the last we've seen of the senpai for the rest of the series... (okay, sure, they'll be back for the end anyway) |

So this was basically a tale of cheating ending in a teary reunion and affirming of vows... right? :heh: (I imagine Heavens are in an open relationship or something.)
Anyway, this is pretty much the most emotive that I've ever heard Miyano voice Tokiya, game included. Like, it seems he put actual effort into it... What happened? Was it all the overflowing dere? :O |

Also, I'm really liking Yuma Ichida more and more. Not only does he have a nice voice, but pretty good character range as well. Hayate and Kasumi last season and now Eiji this season. |

ep 4.
JESUS The song was bad...:heh: However, Kimura can actually sing so he didn't do too badly....meanwhile Shimono sounded drunk. So Kimura's character is the brother of Yusa's character. And got some maaaajjjjooooorrr brother issues. He and Syo compete and basically beat the shit out of each other. While singing. 'cause why not? |

I'm wondering about the whole idea about allowing idols to beat each other up. Like... they're idols, they're worth a lot! They have scheduled appearances that would be cancelled if one of them got injured too much! I can't even imagine the insurances involved in this event. :heh: |

At least Kimura's character didn't hit on Haruka. |
So the duet was successfully completed. And after that, Amakusa was sent to therapy in order to make him ready for the life of an idol. Wow, there's being sensitive and there's this guy!
I really don't know what Amakusa's appeal is supposed to be (he's all over the place as far as character archetypes go) but he made me laugh and I guess he's the first HEAVENS guy who managed to do that. :heh: Something about his over-the-top angst and the way he talks like he learned to speak Japanese from jidaigeki TV dramas... Also, really, all this talk about being filthy and defiled and whatnot, it's like they're trying to find new ways to add vaguely sexual overtones. :heh: First Tokiya's little affair, now this... (By the way I just noticed that this season's CD covers are out, and wow, the character heights are all over the place. Again. :heh: Poor Otoya.) |
So Shion hides in a closet because he doesn't want to be defiled by
