Prettiest/cutest/favorite schoolgirl uniforms in anime
 

My favorite school girl uniforms are from I, My, Me, Strawberry Eggs, Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien, Gatekeepers, Card Captor Sakura and Full Metal Panic. They are all pretty, cute and stylish. Kozue-chan's and Tamami's school uniforms in Mahoraba are very cute and fashionable, too.

To me any uniform that has berets is good, such as the brown autumn / fall ones used in Shuffle! The ones in Mizuiro 2003 are nice as well. To me it's not the uniforms, but the ribbons that go along with them. That means no sweaters-over-necktie.

Not really sure if she just made it like that, but it's an awesome looking schoolgirl uniform. :heh:

This is a pretty tough decision for me as school uniforms are often taken for granted but they add so much to a character. Even when they changed them around in Wind it effected the overall feel of the characters. And due to a recent design project I've been working on, I've done a lot of research on school uniforms lately. This of course meant going to Getchu and saving hundreds of images. But for anime only I'd say Mizuro. They have subtle colour variations and a lot of style. The ribbons are cute and it can look good on any type of girl.
Actually, instead of looking for an anime screenshot, here. The uniforms like like these except the ribbons and bows change with character.

Tho the ones from the Age universe are cool and I like how they're coloured by grade, Green Blue and Red.

My favourite school uniform of any series (games/anime/manga) goes to the Marl Kingdom stories.



I have no examples but I also like it when the uniform has a touch of a military look to it, if that fits the setting. Just stuff like tassles or medals. Nothing major.

I would say Kanon and AIR....Clannad too!

I completely agree with the KGNE uniforms. They are teh awesome.

I'd like to add in the uniforms from Da Capo as very cool, although partially because I'm a sucker for ribbons, and the art style in that series does ribbons in a very pretty way.

I thought GateKeepers had some fine school uniforms as did Real Bout High School (old show).

Card Captor Sakura. I like them because they look like they could actually be uniforms, instead of some sort of loli wet dream.

Shoujo Kakumei Utena: The girls' uniform was hideous (I wonder if that was supposed to be some sort of commentary) but Utena and the student council's uniforms were cool. Why can't I make attachments? How vexing.

Also, not a school uniform, but Millefeuille's uniform in Galaxy Angel.

Personally, I'd say my favorite (guys or girls) uniforms are those from Mai HiME. I like the variety of options Fuuka Gakuen provides its students while still maintaining a uniform look, as well as the "custom" uniforms of the Student Council and Executive Board.

Full Metal Panic!'s girls uniforms are nice as well.

I've always liked the uniforms in ToHeart. Sure, the design is very basic, but there's something about the simplicity and colours that I really like.

Wow, I think Catgirls was the first person to have anything positive to say about Real Bout High School :D hehe

I like the KgNE and MuvLuv uniforms also, and those are probably my favorites.

I also liked Shizuka's uniform from her original school in Final Approach (you see it in episode 12 I think)...didn't much like the uniform they wore the rest of the time though :heh:

And finally, I liked the school unis in Natsuiro no Sunadokei...I really liked the blue-green coloring and generally simple design.

Realistically though, I like anything with thigh-highs.

I love the KgNE and To Heart 2 uniforms as well. My favorite has to be the Shuffle! winter uniforms. Gotta love those hats...

My favorite would have to be the elegant, yet simple uniform the Marimite girls wear...



Right after that would probably be the haunting, yet also simplistic uniform that Enma Ai from Jigoku Shoujo wears...

I sense that you are a zettai-ryouiki ("absolute territory") lover like me.

I really liked the ones in Mai Hime (highschool, that is. Though the middle school ones weren't that bad, eother). Definitely something I would wear.

I have recently fallen in love with the school uniform in Memories Off 2-4:D (how did the girls tie the strings around their sleeves anyway...yet to play MO5)
