There's this really dorky yet sweet guy doing his best to get his invention (a type of space suit) approved against all the odds and coming from an impoverished background but in the end despite his invention being the real deal and passing the test, he's arrested because his country is at war. He then looks down on the earth, spots his tiny country that's currently suffering from the conflict and says "I wonder why...I can't see any border lines from here either. Just Earth."

It's just such an utterly sad yet painfully true reflection on human nature.
