Well, the second season might not be that far off after all.

Besides the update on the seiyuu selection for DAL S2, as pointed out above the main website for the anime has been revamped, but the big thing is the modified logo and page header,

"DATE A LIVE II."

Excellent! I enjoyed this show.

Let's put up a new thread in the Upcoming.

I really need to finish the last few episodes of DAL 1, hopefully the music for s2 is as good as the first but yeah...

Have they said when this is going to air outside of just 2014?

Unfortunately, no. They've at least announced some of the seiyuu though:It won't be coming anytime soon, but the aforementioned modifications to the website indicate it's not too far off.

They didn't even say anything about it being aired in 2014. It's just implied.

Is the name of the Spirit after Yamai (or even her existence) a LN spoiler? I sure hope not.

it should be around summer-spring 2014..although announcement of anime(s1) and s1 airing was about a year and a half difference

So since DAL II is diff from DAL(Thus the new thread.), I should post them here.

... And the voice must fit the character well. (H-Hey, most of the seiyuus can sing...) :twitch:

Kaguya's VA does ring a bell, but I keep forgetting...

Wait a minute, Yuzuru's VA sounds familiar...

The OP of Date A Live suddenly plays in my head.
AW YEAH, my body is ready.

Hint: Kaguya has chuuni tendencies and style of speech. Said VA has voiced someone with similar habits before. :p

I must say though, that I'm kinda looking forward to see how Yuzuru's VA pulls off that idiosyncratic speech pattern. Granted, I've not seen her since her role in Mondaiji (the only show I watched where she voiced a main character).

So soon?! This is great!

Hopefully this will get on air either on spring or winter next year.

I am so ready for season two of this. This is one of few harem anime I actually like a LOT... Mostly for Kotori and Kurumi. <3

Considering the schedules for the upcoming Date A Live materials practically ensures there's at least a Date A Live material to talk about each month, and the date for the release of the 9th volume of the novels, some people speculating DAL II to come next Spring might or might not be far off.

I'm also suspecting that the airing of DAL II will be used to help with the sales of the 10th volume of the novels if the 10th comes out during that time too, which I also suspect as a probability.

Just my 2 cents.
