Well the some of the fights were decent but footage was reused for some of the scenes so overall disappointing really. I hoped the season would end with a bigger bang than this. Season 1 was at least average.

Madoka slaughtered through at least 10-12 grunt IS.

And oh, Ichika may have drowned in the ending.

well im after watching the raw... and well I can say it was weak... it resolved "nothing" to the story... we dont know what madoka is or what is her problem... we had no end to phantom task (maybe except Autumn... she might be dead) and in the end squall saved madoka from ending like gospel

everyoen safe... villans run away... tabane saying chifuyu must have had fun and that next time she will make it even better.... and end with ichika fainint from heat in the bath

I dont think that this open ending that resolved nothing to the season2 will be enought to create season3....now in ep12 they bring out phantom task... mostly thinking it will allow them to create season3 filled again with fanservice and few minutes of story... slim chance for that to happen

so generally season2 is like 3/10 max 4/10 huge mess...no solid story going just random events here and there... ending for a finalle very very weak...that brings no resolve to even few parts of the season2 (like what is phantom task and what is their goal besides stealing IS) maybe it would be higher if they let chifuyu show her skills for once

as for madoka well she turned out to be a killing psychopath so I guess no easy "sorry" for her and if squall didnt jump in few times madoka might have lost to the girls and later to ichika...

and I just dont get it what is the point of bringing tatenashi to the run and photo at the very end.... she had no interreaction in this episode... and its like they threw her in just for fans with no deeper meaning...

The final episode was a disaster storywise, I said it because of a high amount of clichés one could find in any battle shounen show that ends with a climax. The animation and fights are good but not enough to save the horrendousness that is the second season. Frankly I find it even worse than season one not just because the sci-fi plot is underwhelmed, they put way too much focus on new characters which in itself isn't a bad thing, but putting it foremost before the old and busted girls is something I found amusing the first time when I was new to anime but not anymore as I grow older and realize using that trope makes the show better or worse (not to mention the romance didn't progress anywhere). As if it wasn't bad enough, we have an increasing amount of fanservice (thankfully not close to something like To Love-Ru or Qwaser of Stigmata) half of the music is recycled from the previous season and the animation feels outdated and massacred by censoring stills as the episodes goes on. Overall it's pretty bad as a sequel and if the upcoming OVA already happen to worsen the story status, I will lose even less faith in the show itself.

1. charlotte gets the bomb and it blows up in her face. seriously? unless i'm missing something, because the scene shows her talking to laura and the next is an explosion, so i'm assuming that the bomb exploded in her face and she'd have kicked the bucket
2. ichika gets stabbed because we needed houki to undergo a heroic BSOD
3. ichika somehow gets revived even though nothing of note really takes place (and houki disappears)
4. what happened to phantom task at the end ._. all i see is probably autumn getting blown up and madoka going "crap my locket's destroyed screw this".
5. tatenashi is 3 episodes late in joining the ending credits .-.
6. speaking of tatenashi, she literally gets away with every possible disadvantage with her water dolls. wat

also many many reused animations (kanzashi firing the missiles from her IS? that's from the opening AND episode 9. heck even the missiles chasing madoka thing was taken from the opening. laura going HAAARGH with her railgun? you just stole that from episode 1, didn't you o_O and this flashback thing is getting ridiculous because it's as though someone just dumped the ep1 intro into the dream scene (like they did in season 1) and add some random shot of human-byakushiki. very good filler.

also funny thing: laura is still the only girl running properly in the ending sequence (Y)

So this time the train have bomb , which make me question the Phantom task 's true purpose , if they want to steal IS why bother kill all the wearer along with the suit , unless it is because Madoka want to kill Chifuyu .

Which also bring another question , why she bother killing Uchigane when she can just targeting the train and 1 shot it .
Ichika , without a doubt , still weak as hell , keep saying i will protect everybody yet fail to defeat Madoka before the bomb blow up .

And then another plot hole about the bomb , can Laura / Rin / Charl just bust from the train roof and start looking for the bomb asap instead of trying to stop the train from moving ?

Talk about strength , Houki I.S still OP as hell , because it made another plot hole , how the hell did it dodge Autumn shot right in front of her IS just to suddenly stab her from behind , and where the hell is the spider web attack ?

As me and someone in here predict , Ichika after fail to defeat the enemy , will act like a crybaby and then be spoiled by the loli Byakushiki , oh yes , LOLI ! hopefully those damn rotten old geezes in Tokyo won't try to ban this

As you can see , the Byakushiki undergo another change , shift 3 ? no ? Anyway , god-mode , so actually , the IS made the user , not the other way around .

The ending is stupid , if i were them , i would make the Phantom task 's scene in which they declare that they will return .
