Does this mean that people still use 800x600?

LazyWulfran0 2004-11-02 13:11

I do. My computer won't let me up the resolution any higher than that.

Go ahead. Laugh.

Ed Elric 2004-11-02 13:17

Ohhh these are great XD I love Johan he's so awesome and hot ^^

Ri_ 2004-11-02 13:28

Thanks!

I don't like working with files that are too large for my taste and as I'm just doing this for fun ~ oh hwell. Maybe I could make them larger, if I feel like it

Crowley 2004-11-03 11:33

Since you seem to be using screencaps, higher resolutions wouldn't look as good if you were to just blow up the capped images. They could be traced, but that's quite a bit more work.

BTW, your two nina wp links are the same. Should be "(version w/out hand)".

Oh, lazy, you suck. :P

LazyWulfran0 2004-11-03 19:18

I was lying to make you feel bad about yourself. Apparently it didn't work. Snob.

Ri_ 2004-11-03 21:02

Oh yeah, the quality was also a reason for the format >_>
As for the Nina links, oops. Thanks for pointing out.

Crowley 2004-11-03 21:03

My happiness is insurmountable.

Anyways. Scans from the manga would make good wallpapers. Colour them, or even leave them blank, most of them are quite large enough for wallpaper dimensions of at least 1024x768. Easily more source material than the anime.
:)

Ri_ 2004-11-04 14:09

Sounds neat, but I don't think that'd be quite my thing to do. Not too fond of colouring scans I am, and I never did see the manga material as something to be blown up huge; perhaps because I read it mostly on paper.

Crowley 2004-11-04 17:22

You wouldn't "blow it up huge," assuming they were scanned with a good quality setting they'd be large enough already.

Ri_ 2004-11-04 18:29

How true; if I wanted to make manga wallpapers.

Ri_ 2004-11-26 15:46

Though Tenma's such a friendly person and all, he actually rarely smiles in the series. So here's a cheerful wallpaper of him. I tried a larger version this time.

As announced in this forum, the Monster forum has been retired. This is just a natural part of a forum's lifespan. It has been a while since the new episodes of the show were aired. Over the time since then, the show has seen a great reduction of posting and attention. As a result, it is no longer meaningful to have a gadzillion threads to discuss the show.

This thread is one of the few remaining where discussion can still be posted. By concentrating discussion into a few threads it may be possible to actually have a semblance of interaction once more. Please continue to show Monster your enjoyment interest in these threads.
