So from the end of the episode, this is saying what I think it's saying right?

I thought they will finish the show halfway. I'm glad they're going to continue this next autumn.

wow that was fast...another 2 cours anime would be perfect

^ The Light Novel is currently on volume 7 and now we're at the end of volume 5... so it might be only 12 episodes. 6 episodes per volume

Just watch the last episode of Log Horizon man this episode is awesome Shiroe's evil smile is amazing. Akatsuki's dress is lovely.

Looking forward to the 2nd season seeing a glimpse of those characters who will be involve next season.

Also possible they'll use kanami's side story.

Glad that the storyteller has shown her true face! Good job Shiroe for seeing right through Nureha's disguises, as well as declining her offer!

Now then, let's hope that second season won't jump the shark! Please make it 13 episodes, Satelight!

The end of the episode was almost all spoilers/foreshadowing for season 2. That said, I still think it's going to be 1-cour, covering 2 volumes.

That was a blast for an ending. Like the animation for Nureha's overlay and when her tails are swaying.

Also good foreshadowing for next season. Though I hope Mamare would make it up to vol 10 by then so it would be another 2 cour season.

Well, I hope he can release one or two volumes for 2014 first. Then, Satelight will make 24-25 episodes.

Well Mamare has been in talks with the network so maybe he filled them in on what he has planed to rest of the series.

Thoughts:

1. Does Rudy know about the real world now? Because Nyanta just dropped a line concerning that in their ending lines as the episode was finishing. "Perhaps we should go back to our own world?"

2. I love that LH has a good story, because even without the adult references, the story doesn't suffer that much as a whole.

3. Will the pace become slower for season 2? It's just 2 books for next season after all.

NHKE is immediately going to re-run the 1st season right away anyways, so there's at least half a year of time bought right there.

Log Horizon done.

Grats on Season two this fall!!!

Why? There's whole half a year until season two, and Mamare can easily produce at least another novel by then.
The series so far has been averaging about 2 volumes a year.

In fact, we're expecting the start of novel 8 any day now. (hopefully within this month even)
