This is the only 18+ novel that I like on syosetu because it has a good setting and the protagonist is an utter douchebag with a good mind set (depending on how you look at it, he's a self-centered ass which is good in my book)

The novel starts off with the company that the protagonist works for going bankrupt, so the protagonist shuts himself in his room for a week doing whatever he wants, unaware that zombies are now everywhere

After getting bitten by a zombie and gaining immunity instead of being infected, he goes around manipulating people by abusing his immunity without letting others know

This often leads to misunderstandings that he's a decent guy for risking his life out there, but in actuality is total scum

I translated chapter 1 because I hate you guys as always (except Solace, he's scary so I'm obligated to not hate him)

Reminded me of a certain chapter in World War Z which also involved a Japanese guy.
See the proper & evil way to do it is to translate just enough drugs chapters to get enough people hooked & then stop giving out the free crack.

Read the first chapter and sadly I'm very interested in seeing translations for this to come. Even if the MC is an asshole but then I love the zombie genre.

Just caught up.

Protagonist is somewhat of a psychopath and a bit of sociopath.
He's got burdens and responsibility in the later half of the story, which he feels annoyed and bogged down about. His general self-centeredness never really goes away though.

I'm really more interested in the continuing mutations of the zombies.

Never did understand the difference between the two.

And finally, is there any romance or at least a pairing between Mc and "x" girl thats not a zombie???

I was let down that the author decided to do all this build up and experimentation with the first zombie girl only to end up releasing her early on, hopefully they'll meet again

It's one-sided with the other two girls with the protagonist not caring, he pretty much just abandoned them in the most recent chapter

The novel is somewhat readable with google translate too, so if anyone can't read japanese they can try that option

Nothing yet so far, the protagonist thinks about the possibility early on and states that he isn't the kind of guy to sacrifice himself for humanity, obviously

It talks about the mutations around chapter 28

Psychopath is Considered Hereditary and sociopath learned behavior, or something shaped from your environment. The former is more logical and methodical while the latter is more erratic and loose.
A sociopath is more likely to have a relationship that doesn't necessarily benefit them in some tangible way. While a psychopath will outweigh pros and cons and immediately abandon connections that are demerits with zero emotions.

To sum it up. Psychopaths plan, Sociopaths don't.

Back on topic. This is an interesting series. I've already marked it for something I should read.
