dalong reviews just about every model kit you know of right when it comes out, sometimes even before it comes out. All the kits are unpainted so you get a good idea of what they really look like.

They're cheaper and most certainly better in overall quality as model kits, as evident in the kit of Exia and OO.

as for MG releases i got a feeling bandai will concentrate on GM this year.

i'm really hoping bandai will continue the Zeta Gundam MG line by releasing The O perhaps. or release MG Exia and 00 this year

A GM??...Seriously??...I didn't think GM variant have enough Details to be made into a worthy MG...maybe it's just me though...but GM seriously looked clumsy...

Not that one.... it's actually the first GM. It's been given a 2.0 treatment... about a few pages back.

Edit: a Powered GM or even a GM Custom would have fared better that the other GM counterparts.

Edit(again): it seems rebel one has made things easier for you by reposting the image.

If the GMs all use the same frames as RX-78 2.0 then forget it. Building just one of those frames only to have it covered by the armor was enough for me.

Disappointing IMO...Even My GM Pic looks cooler...and that thing as a MG...I wonder what details did they make to have call it a MG??...

By the way...When is the Release Date of HG00 Alvaaron??...Finally, a new golden Mobile Suit next to my Hyaku SHiki and Akatsuki.... Is this Alvaaron the first GOldies that don't use Japanese Name as it name??...you know...Hyaku SHiki is the Japanese for "Type 100" and Akatsuki is Jap for "Red Cloud"...

The MG 2.0 line for First Gundam suits is supposed to replicate the anime look as closely as possible. Since the anime look/original designs are actually quite impossible to replicate in model form if you want any form of poseability whatsoever, the MG's pretty much tries to defeat this impossibility...:heh:

Agree. The RX 78-2 Ver 2.0 is my most favorite kit. I love the retro look too!

In a way it does do that. The frames are so strong and stiff that they barely move unless you use a lot of force.:heh:

But really Bandai. I'm still waiting for V2, DX, and Turn X and you roll out Zakus and GMs.

partly they are promoting the new release blu-ray dvd for zeta/0079 sereis hence the MG release follow this path this yr.....

Call me when they release the MG GM Custom/ Quel 2.0.

For thr 2.0's, they're focusing more on poseability and stability rather than external details (the MG GM 2.0 uses a similar frame to the MG Gundam 2.0). Thus it's details may be simpler, but it is more poseable.
