Missiles and grenades in the legs? Damn, they went all out with the Braves.

justavisitor 2010-11-03 17:01

finally, another one of the very few M.Ss that the legs actually have some purpose XD

All the MS's legs serve some purpose. Namely mobility enchancement through AMBAC. (Exia for example relies on this quite a bit)

justavisitor 2010-11-04 21:39

I must be thinking of Zeong when ppl from zeon said legs are just for the decoration purpose :heh:

But, I thought the legs can do much more than AMBAC...like infinite justice's knee cutter....that was a really really neat future because 99.999% of other mobile suit don't have that

AMBAC? What's that?

Gaaahhh, I can't remember the full abbreviation, but I believe it's commonly referred to as "Auto Balancer".

Essentially, it's a system that partly uses the momentum of the MS moving around to maneuver. Otherwise, the amount of thrusters and propellant required to move nicely would be pretty ridiculous.

But this post is really off topic and should get purged sometime soon >_>

SonicSP 2010-11-05 00:25

Of course they are other applications like Arche's beam saber but AMBAC seems to be the main purpose. They're also used to mount thrusters like in the case of Arios who have a load of thrusters in hips and feet sections.

In the cqse of Exia, it's more human-like articulation relative to the other three Gundams help increased it's mobility as well as helping in the execution of sword attacks.

AMBAC = active mass balance auto-control

=)

Are the connections holding the legs of the Rezel solid when you transform it?
I'm asking because watching the instruction manual they seems small so I fear I might break them during it.

Good Lord.

But I understand that there are others folks who might like it. Personally, they can leave their airplane-back Raiser garbage the eff away from the awesomeness that is the Qan.

To each his own. ;) I personally don't mind the airplane back.

And yes, that is a monster. :heh: Not even the ELS would stand a chance! :D

(I'm just saying. Don't take my ELS comment seriously. :))

Much more impressive than simple kitbashing. Especially when you consider that 24 LEDs are squeezed in.

... And to think I just completed my own HGUC Unicorn Destroy Mode... THAT is too beautiful :love:

24 LED's inside a 1/144 while still maintaining articulation like that though, that's one hell of a fine work there. :eyespin:

Is there a link that shows the process? I'd be very interested in attempting this myself.

WOW, that is a good kitbash. I like how the owner also made it a transformable. That is my most favorite touch really.

My only complain is that the XN Raiser or the GN Buster Sword IIIs are uncolored.

The airplane back bothered me at first but I actually grew to like it. Now I cannot imagine 00 without it. If 00R was a super hero, then 0 Raiser is it's cape....

Or if 00 was Megaman X, than 0 Raiser is an Armor Upgrade.:heh:

Yes THAT is impressive. I wish we can make some of the HG00 TA kits glow like that...........but all over.

Hmmm.......it looks very yummy as well. Like strawberry source topped over some vanilla ice cream................:D
