MG's also get a mid-month releases due to increasing number of releases. 1/144 HG's can released all over the month, but most still near the end. In the past bandai posted a detailed release and rerelease schedule per month on it's japanese website, but it has vanished in recent years (can't find it anymore). That was very practical. |

I would go with Hobby Link Japan. They seem to be more accurate with stuff like that.

That builds a bit of suspense for me though, as my Qan[T] has been in a private warehouse for over 30 days now, and it'll take at least a month for the Aegis to be released... Damn, might as well have it shipped over now, as that red chunk of awesome will never make it in time :/ |

Spoiler for MG Aegis:
Cool, but not very unique. I was hoping to see it with all its beam sabers drawn in that epic duel with the Strike. |
I have to admit..
MG Aegis looks epic! I just wished that Bandai would re-release the MG Strike (and packs), MG Freedom, and MG Strike Freedom using the new frame...same for Infinite Just. And we need to get a Justice. It would look good with those 3 + Aegis + Infinite Justice |

Anyway, I made a blog post just a few moments ago. http://inb4suiton.blogspot.com/2012/...-wip-blog.html I'm planning on doing WIP blog posts of my GunPla kit backlog. Please visit and comment the order I should do them in. It's kind of a big list (not not really compared to the guys that are more into GunPla and have been doing it for longer than I have)... |
Give me Perfect Strike & i be a happy Modeller ...

On another note, I think Aegis pose for that cover is boring. Why doesn’t the illustrator draw it with its yellow beams which I swear will be much more appealing to buyers than the overdone pointing-gun pose. |
I don't quite get why Infinite Justice needs a new frame. The only thing that needs to get fixes is SF, but IJ?! It has a sliding panel for legs, some gimmicks here and there and now it needs a new frame?
|
I think I found the perfect HG with yellow beams for my Vagan HGs which design I like:
Anyone here built the HGUC Palace Athene? $20 on Hobbywave is quite tempting |
And yet again the boardfool got the attention for at least half a page :D
Wy do you guys even read what he writes???? No seed Mg's need a version 2.0 at this moment , not even strike. The only thing i don't like about them (strike and freedom that is) is the fact that they do not have pins in their hands to lock their weapons into place. For the rest they are still great! |
While I disagree that no MG needs a 2.0, the fact is we are getting MG Nu Ver Ka and some amazing suits so while some could use it I love Bandai focusing on giving us more new stuff then worrying about just the old stuff over and over again.
|
To be fair if any SEED suit could do with a 2.0 (or maybe just a 1.5) it would be Strike. Mainly because it is a part of the GAT series and next to the modern kits it probably will look a bit dated.
Anyway, I'm liking that Aegis box art, it's nothing unique or anything but I love the colour contrast between the red of the Aegis and the blue of the Earth, striking without being overbearing. |

hhmmm...MG/HG Seed (Destiny) is missing Blast Impulse.....Destiny impulse wld be good also...
for the moment i thought Aegis boxart wld be this http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o...sgundam1wg.jpg looks like is using op1/2 pose |
Honestly, you don't really need ver 2.0s for those Seed MGs (not yet anyway).
But do make druggie MGs. Especially Calamity! Dreadnought or Hyperion? EDIT: Actually, they can MG the Akatsuki! |
Some of you who like a "perfect" Nu Gundam might like this:
Dynamic tag cannot be rendered. (PrintableThread) |
just finished building the gelgoog ver2.0 and this is probably one of my favorite looking mobile suits. the build was also very exciting. i even took the time to paint the innerframe. this was my second 2.0 kit and im thinking about getting char's zaku 2 ver2.0. Either that or I'll wait for the Nu Gundam ver ka.

IMO guys if any MGs need 2.0s I want a 2.0 Gundam set from 0083 Stardust Memories, and throw in a GP04 and Gerbera Tetra while they're at it |

And agreed, I would love to see a GP01 2.0 :) |
I was thinking of getting the palace Athene and Gaplant, Look like unique and neat mobile suits. :p

I've built the green/grey version 2.0. I found it's gun, even if it has the extra granadelauncher, pretty smaal, so i gave him teh old bigger sniper gun from the anavel gato version. The char version is on my want list. It's indeed an interesting build. |
Just finished the MG age 1 normal. Will update my blog later with images and thoughts. Overall it was a good build but instructions were a little tricky sometimes and a few pegs seem a bit small or weak.

Anyway, yesterday my HG AGE-3 Normal, Ghirarga and AGE-FX arrived. AGE-3 and Ghirarga are finished. Great kits overall, but my AGE-3 was kinda damaged. Seems to be from Bandai's mold. The white part for the torso is messed up, it's like a panel line that goes all over the place :( I'm glad that it's kinda covered from the blue chestpart. Currently working on the AGE-FX, Rifle, stand and C-Funnels are done, now doing the legs. |

Burst Mode FX would make such an epic kit. Source: http://gundamguy.blogspot.com.au/201...l#comment-form |

You know what?
MG Strike, Aegis, Buster, Duel and Blitz need to have the functionality to combine Voltron-style into some colossal clusterfuck of a Gundam and I feel personally insluted that Bandai did not include this functionality. |

I mean, one way or the other, I don't mind it. I'm just happy that Aegis is finally getting a proper action figure, it's been way over due. But I did like its MA mode as well. I thought that the figure making process (especially with Robot Damashii figures) was advanced enough to implement a transformation stable enough to go well with the figure. I guess Bandai didn't wanna risk it. *inb4tamashiiexclusivepermatransformedaegis* |
