Just finished my RG Freedom, About to get the Justice soon. After watching rrobberts videos of his thumbs breaking off on his freedom. The left hand pointer finger on mine broke in 2 pieces. :heh: Its an amazing little kit though.

I'm excited about news on the HG Byarlant Custom being made. One step closer to a torrington base assault group.

Is it just me or, do other people enjoy watching videos like this?

Every once in a while, I tend to go back and watch this. It's weird...sorta? LOLOLOL

I guess the new frame is the cause for the higher price. For a transformable frame you need much more tiny parts than for the Justice or MK II's frames.

Aside from that, it's a taller and slightly bigger suit. If they're not including the Hyper Mega Launcher, atleast a Zaku II head perhaps.:heh:

I don't get why all this fuss is being made for yet another UC kit.

FalsePrime 2012-08-23 21:58

Because UC is one of the most popular series and has a huge fanbase and sells alot of units. Given the amount of people who love and want these, it makes sense to discuss what will be popular releases.

Do you really need to ask that question?

You should know fine well UC is one of the most popular if not the most popular series in Gundam.
Even people that don't like the series(why they wouldn't is what's beyond me) you should still realize it's hugely popular.
If you can't get your head around it then you are better off not trying to understand it at all cause you simply never will.
It's the same deal as trying to understand people collecting things. You can think why would they collect something like that but to them they just do.

And wow Zeta with Zaku head, never thought of that before:heh:

Come to think of it now, Zaku head on alot of suits would be pretty cool as I actually really like the mono eye look.

His missing the point that Amuro RX-78-2 & Char Zaku II is the start of the franchise of kits. without UC , there isn't any other series *cough cough G Wing X 00 Age...

Crazyass boxart! The green looks a little bright on the box, but the model looks fine.

That is a fact yes. But that doesn't mean they should be worshipped like gods. They have long been superseeded by better design.

I totally love Busters boxart!!! i'm gona buy the kit just for the box alone!

Clanche's "just transformed" pose looks mild in comparison.

Taste is personal but I am curious which, say 5, main suits from a series look better.

My personal list regarding above criteria, in random order.
- Turn A
- GP03
- RX-78-2
- AleX
- 00Q

Seems like Bandai's stinging on the purple plastic again like they did with the SD. Is dark purple plastic really that expensive?

So glad the red parts are plastic and not stickers. Really sweet, seems this guy won't have to rely on stickers as much as the Anksha did. Can't wait!

Ya know, at first I thought I am happy with my 1/100 NG Buster... But now that I look at this photo I kind of want to get the MG as well... But it definitely isn't a priority for me just yet^^

casval cehack 2012-08-24 04:54

The Byarlant Custom only just needs a "EFF" marking on the left shoulder, checking episode 4.

I sure need to save up for November for these U.C. gunplas.

I think nobody here worship UC. It’s just they’re already well established and, yes, they have some of the greatest mecha (Gundam) designs. I’ll have to admit that.

Just from the old UC series: Mark II, Zeta, ZZ, FAZZ I believe are some of the timeless design ever made. I mean, you can put either one of them side-by-side with the likes of Wing/Zero, X/Double X, Freedom, Exia, 00, Qan[T] and those UC suits will still up to challenge design-wise. In contrast, some of the newest designs (like Age-1 Titus, Age-2 Double Bullet, etc) look far more simpler than Zeta and its variants. I didn’t count suits like Strike, Age-1 Normal or 0 Gundam since they’re supposed to be homage to the original Gundam design.

On another topic, I’m kinda surprised that the Box-art for MG Buster takes place when Dearka turn into a “good guy”. :D More reason for me to pick this kit up.
