thanks mate
well you can get 1/144 HGUC Powered GM kit from Bandai now ^ ^ though no idea when they will release 1/100 Master Grade though |
Which one is that one though, the HGUC or the Conversion Kit?
|
HGUC, AFAIK. Me being a GM fan, it's a must-buy. :p
But dammit, I still see no trace of the HGUC Zudah here. Now, THAT, my friends, is a mobile suit kit worth getting--if you're a REAL modeler (i.e. someone who actually paints, details, and builds as opposed to simply snap-fitting it all together). |
^^ You mean....here? I sure hope it doesn't fall apart after you assemble it. :P

yes it's new HGUC release and Bandai will release HGUC GM Kai as well...
me being 1/100 modellers I only ever built two 1/144 kits in my time - one being HGUC GM Cold Climate and HGUC Z'Gok B, both for diorama settings... |

Hmm....Outframe... o.O and....meh? http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f1...CH2006-082.jpg Found them here. |
Outframe and Delta Astray.
I'm surprised that there's still no Outframe model yet. Will it be released now? |
Wow, Akatsuki and Saviour in 1/100....Bandai is really making some smart Gunpla decisions on the NG 1/100 front recently. Hopefully it'll continue on, and maybe even backpedal into some of the missing SEED releases.
|
YAY 1/100 Saviour! I hope it can transform really easily just like the anime. XD But seriously, I've been waiting for it to eventually come out. My second wish came true though with this ^^ (the first one being Strike Noir in EvZII)

What would be cool is if whatever scale the Outframe comes out in hopefully, it's compatible with all the Striker packs and Sillouhettes for its respective scale and grade.
|
If that's the prototype for it, it's going to be a 1/144.
|
|
OH GOD I CAME.
Anymore pics of the Destiny Impulse? |
Whoa Saviour finally gets some love from Bandai! :D I really hope that they pay attention to the details.. like V-fins that fold up when transforming. These GSD 1/100 kits are really late (I-Justice, Legend, and Saviour), but at least they're much better quality compared to the earlier ones. 1/100 Strike Freedom was just horrible.
MG Crossbone looks okay. I was never a fan of the design, so I can't really say much about it.. unlike some other people, pirates does not equal instant win for me. And something looks off about Stargazer. I think the ring is too big or something.. I can't quite put my finger on it. |

Crossbone!!! I wonder if it came with the cape though |

It looks really good, though, and the color seems to be a darker red, which I like better, than that for the 1/144 HG version. Quote:
Again, it could also be the angle at which the photo was taken, but the ring and body look like they're being displayed separately? Opinions naturally. |

anyone seen this? http://www.e2046.com/product_info.php?products_id=6238
It's an X42S conversion kit to the MG Freedom, I think. |
Hmm, pretty nice...but where's the little jester stripes on the Destiny head?
|
Wow Jehuty Gundam :D
http://seedplamo.sakura.ne.jp/img3/imgboard.cgi Nice V. buster @_@ http://seedplamo.sakura.ne.jp/img/imgboard.cgi |
|
Thats what we need in a 1/100 scale for SEED...a Murasame.
|
All the mass productions need some 1/100 treatment.
|
LMAO that's funny shit right there :)
|
Gundam action figure
Can anyone of you guy upload some photo of yr action figure collection??? pls share......thanks ;)
|
ok small WIP in a while
been busy finishing off other models but finally did some base painting on the frame to cover up the mess I made before - guess time for washing after I put on some future main point of modification were upgrade on the exposed left leg frame with working cylinder gimmick at the middle and lower section plus the chest hatch to be open all the way down... and replaced the head with optional mechanical head. I do have the helmet modified to be dropped on it though not yet decided on that idea... http://img148.imageshack.us/img148/7172/img1030nf3.jpg http://img92.imageshack.us/img92/1662/img1031to8.jpg |
very nice :)
|
Aww, poor Zaku. I love the leg though, it looks so friggin good.
|
cheers
I may put on some inner armour frame on that leg - basically frame structure in the shape of outer armour... partially broken of coz |
awesome, dj898

And here's 3rd Zaku kit I'm working on. Yep I'm currently doing three MG Zaku kits - one being MG Zaku I that I will make into Zakulabour complete with MS size shovel and nail gun, and the above battle damaged MG Zaku II. The 3rd one being MG Zaku II F2 in Panzer style below. ^ ^
----- This is one of MG Zaku F2 kit that I started modifying as part of my Dodai II project. It's been in the box for a while now after rush to finish to meet the dead line but I wasn't really happy with the end result as I left things out a lot. As such while I'm working on my Zakulabour project I pulled this one out and started to fix and change few places... it was painted in kind of Panzer style - well kind of - but not sure it's actually correct as I'm not that familiar with military modelling myself. Anyway, in case you haven't noticed the major point of modification with this one was putting double ball joint in the middle so it can bent forward - think of staning up and bend forward to grab the rain in front of you at the height of your hip. It's very rough patch job though as I used epoxy putty to hold the sockets in place... other than that the rest are the detailing up like the extra flap on the spike shoulder armour an brush of thinned putty on the armour to get the rough texture and etc. Machine gun is the optional not for sale 1/100 Zaku machine gun where you can take the magazine off just like PG Zaku machine gun... http://img237.imageshack.us/img237/733/img1029el5.jpg ---- and in case you missed I've updated my 1/100 Powered GM posting with few more comment. Go and have a read. ^ ^ http://img208.imageshack.us/img208/1...weredgmtb0.jpg |
Niiice damage effects on the down Zaku II, dj898. :D
By the way mate, are there any good Australian or international model online stores to purchase and order Gundams from? Most of the stores in Sydney are pretty expensive to the degree that it is usually cheaper to buy online! Going to these stores is having a severe impact on my wallet and it wouldn't be until next year that I can go travelling again! Haha, all I need is a credit card and a good loooad of cash. :D I'm particularly looking for a good priced PG kits and UC MG goodness that doesn't rape me in shipping. I've checked out some online stores like Hobby Link Japan, Rainbow Ten (haha, i haven't checked their shipping costs though-- gotta study!), Mech-a and Best1Hobby but I haven't had a chance to thoroughly look through most of them. Got recommendations to share? :heh: Random note: I wanna get the three Balls!! :D |
not really... i have two Hobbyco near my house I usually check every weekend in case they some with sales sticker. Missed MG GM Quel I was after though recently. They had the price marked down but by the time I returned it's gone. :( Would've been perfect for my 1/100 Hazel Custom conversion kit
other than that try eBay. I bought a dozen few years back that I still use for building kits - many of my kits are from those stock to be honest... I even have PG RX-78-2 that I bought back in 2004 I still keeping and now I have my 2nd G-System Gundam Ver. Ka conversion kit for PG Gundam. |
