Arcwave's anime-esque music compositions!~

Hello again!

Well, I'm back to share yet another composition I just did. Although I think for next time I'll thread my music when I have more than one piece to show (since they're always so short T_T)- I'm just anxious to post, hehe. The beginning is basically a take off from Princess Mononoke, I purposely used windpipes and a similar melody... but I changed the cadence which leads into my original composition.

I thought the images do the music justice... they are by Yoshitoshi ABe (sp?)

Cheers! :D

EDIT:

Taking Daniel E's word of advice, I've decided to arrange all my compositions in this thread. Some of my past works are linked below:

You know Arc, I think it would be so much better if you were to always use the same thread for all your pieces. People may have forgotten, or they may have missed your earlier works (wich go back as far as 2007 in this place).

If you use a main thread, everybody can give you feedback on both, your new and old works. :)

Great idea! Will do! :)

Once Upon a Marigold OST Project

Hi folks~ I'm back at it again! Teehee :3

Recently, I've been working on a fan-soundtrack for the fantasy book Once Upon a Merigold by Jean Ferris. She has been in touch with me and really likes the idea. Aside from music composition I am a filmmaker and wish to adapt this book into a motion picture someday... heck, even better, produce an anime! Rawraw~

I only have a few tracks up, and they're kind of short (roughly 1 - 2 minutes per track). I'm working on basic themes right now and will eventually do longer arrangements if I see fitting time.

This channel is devoted to the tracks. I only have 3 up right now, but I'd love for you all to take a listen!

Also, I use a lot of anime music as inspiration. I'm watching Clannad right now which gave me some musical ideas.

Hi guys, here is another anime-inspired piece I wrote for oboe. It's short, and I want to continue with the movement. Would love to hear what you think!

Very very nice, I'll try and tell a few folks around here to check it out as well.

As a bit of a side comment, this is exactly the type of music I like to hear while playing RPGs! :)
