Looks like this series this time will be tropical-themed

sort of starting to get tired of the precure franchise.. as the last one felt bland near the middle, and I had to drop.

5 episodes on this before decide to drop or continue..

February next year? no visuals yet?

I don't even watch Precure, but character with a name "Cure Papaya" makes a very compelling arguement to at least check it out.

The 1st and 2nd episodes are up.

episode 1:

ok, good start. I like Natsumi energetic personality, and that mermaid with ulterior motive of becoming the next queen. lol

for sure now, will follow this up to episode 12. Then decide there if will continue or not. :)

episode 2:

ok, already a fight between friends on the second episode? Glad it was resolved quickly.

Sango looks so fashionable. Looking forward to her precure debut next episode.

episode 3:

Sango thought Laura is a robot. xD

as expected, Cure Coral debut is amazing..

episode 4:

nice intro episode for Cure Papaya. I guess her article was turned down, and that discouraged her from writing more. Fortunately, she met Laura who helped her gain confidence again.

only thing that bothered me is when transformed, the things around her eyes remind me of a Kunekune victtim in Urasekai Picnic. lol

Episode 5: Makoto Kino, is that you?

episode 5:

a little late in watching, because we're in quarantine again.

debut episodes are always so nice. Asuka looks like she has issues being with a group, something that would probably be explored later, as the show goes on.

and a yaraneda that splits up, 4 cures are just the right number to defeat it!

episode 6:

enjoyed this episode. That student council president sure is strict.. glad that Manatsu still manage to get the club approved. Heartwarming story of 4 friends who came back 10 years after graduating.

episode 7:

unexpected Minori episode, enjoyed it. :>

that cannon reminds me of the cannon in Fantasista Doll anime.

episode 8:

grim joke about cooking Kururun and Laura. ><

glad Manatsu appreciates her mom's work even more now. :)

episode 9:

Sango episode this time. Amazing that he mom actually get hired to do makeup job for people in the movie industry.

and it must be terribly hot inside that cinderella mask..

episode 10:

super strong yaraneda monster this time. Manatsu motivation was stolen, but she produce even more motivation by herself. lol

good episode.. and the birth of their group attack. Actually the group attack is the only thing I did not like, since probably they would start doing this group attack every episode from now on.. would be boring if they would only have one kind of finishing move. More fun when each girl can purify a yaraneda by herself.

episode 11:

one of the best episode for me. The art club obviously had an advantage in this.. but they had to work extra hard, because one of their towers collapsed in the rain. They deserved the win.

as usual, nice fight. Manatsu and Sango burying the yaraneda real good.

episode 12:

the committee is a new problem for the club. Why so strict?
thankfully, Laura avoided being caught.. she walks using her tail?

episode 13:

Manatsu screaming into the mic felt exaggerated, that's the only thing I disliked this episode.

Laura's singing so good. She's a good guest for the broadcast club. :)

episode 14:

the girls teaching the little kids.

some of the children are rather mature. Like that one reading about insects, and the one who told Manatsu not to dirty the room with dirtball. lol

"baby Asuka" is cute. xD

episode 15:

looks like Laura really liked having legs. Maybe there would be an episode later, where she would wish to be human?

a giant bread monster can punch. lol

looking forward to next episode. Still good, although I liked it better when they don't have the team attack. It's starting to get boring when do the same finishing move to purify the monster every week.

episode 16:

surprised that this episode has a bit of drama. Laura has a sad expression seeing Manatsu and the others walk, while she alone has to swim in the river..

then when Manatsu mom has pedicure, and Laura cannot show her toe nails, because she did not have any..

certainly one of the better episodes.

Laura decision not to use the power of the witch to have legs.. in the end, Laura is able to have legs by her own power.

Cure La Mer is sexy. They show off so much of her.. legs.

nice to see Laura can change her legs back to fins again with ease.

a mermaid drowning in a pool. lol

I'm really loving Laura's transformation sequence every time it happens - probably my favorite one this season. She has a slightly different sequence depending on whether she's transforming from mermaid or human form which is pretty cool to see.

episode 19:

surprised that Manatsu is scared of scary stories.

this might be the start of her friendship with Elda..

episode 20:

surprisingly entertaining "detective" episode.

it's funny when Minori imagine the others eating the bread. xD

Looks like we're getting a movie for this Precure; it's going to be a crossover between Tropical-Rouge & Heartcatch, really looking forward to it.

Sango has so many luggage she nearly faint. xD

Asuka, not need many luggage, but the pillow is important. lol

that's one well-lighted cave. I guess to make safe for the tourists. Laura got lucky finding the item.. which requires the person to fall down. lol

this episode somehow reminded me of Koisuru Asteroid anime. :)

anyway, nice... now the Astronomy club problem of having almost no member is solved.
