@Butagami

You sir pretty much won at life:D I suggest get the HG Pink/Brown Acguy or HG 0 Gundam because it's easier to build for beginner. Perhaps for a more challenging experience get a MG Sword Impule or MG Strike Noir...

As for the file set, i think most online shop sell it for a reasonable price. Although i could be wrong, haven't buy from online shop for 3 month now..:)

Well, it's only an option. Butagami can go with those or other kits. Also, I think MG Impulse is too "intense" for a girl's first Plamo. She could get bored before she even finished it. HGs or 1/100 is perfect for a newbie like her.

Btw, I also agree with maknaedik who recommended HG Farsia ^^.

or .. you know, let her choose one and buy it for her :)

Yea this is what you really should do, let her pick what she wants, when do guys ever know what girls want?:heh:

But is probably best to stick with a couple of HG at first just to get used to them before taking on a MG or the like, however they aren't that hard on the whole anyway.
Just depends on the person's patience and interest in the hobby really.

Exactly, you don't want to shove her things just because she shows some interest, if anything let her pick a kit and buy it for her, less hassle that way

Thanks for the tips guys, but pink isn't really her style (and her first reaction on seeing Nobell was: That's pretty gay)
We've looked around a little, and when I place an order again (poor student, so that'll take a while) She'll get the HG Throne Eins as a starter kit, and after that the Mass Production version of the MG Zaku II 2.0
Not quite what you guys expected, was it? She's pretty badass

Well if she picked the Throne Eins herself then yes very badass, that's actually one of my favorite 00 Gundam models:D

Both were her choice. I suggested the Zaku, but Eins was all her...

Nice choice xD HG Throne Eins was my first kit too rofl, some painting/touchups required but overall a very solid kit

Yup. Like I said, HGs or 1/100 is perfect for first-timer :D.

My first ever model was the HG 00 Raiser+GN Sword III. It was reasonably easy to assemble and looks beautiful. I've never built a non-grade 1/100 before: what are the runners like?

And typically more numerous or just as much as the bigger/more complicated HG kits

A good place to check the amount of runners is Dalong, find a kit, then find out how much parts and runners its got

Znozzy 2012-11-19 03:40

...And I pity, any MS who isn't me todaaaaaaaay!

I had to pick either the Byarlant Custom or the Rozen Zulu to preorder, ended up choosing the latter. Looks like I'll have to wait to pick up the Byarlant Custom at retail.

duotiga 2012-11-19 08:56

let's apprehend this instead =x

bio9205 2012-11-19 09:50

So tempted! But I've seen reviews of the Delta Plus that the wings fall off easily due to the transformation, and I really don't like the beam cannon on the shield, but that's just me.

Sinanju Stein next year please, Bandai? :D
