Impressive. It looks like Hakuoro is much like a berserker - don't piss him off or you'll free what lies dormant inside of him.



I find it amusing that such a small country (though bestowed with so many exceptional fighters and leaders) can take on a country at least five times larger.

As for this episode, the animation, though a bit CG heavy, really made a great comeback. It seems they're messing around with the game storyline again, but overall, I think it worked out fine. The And man, I can't get enough of Touka's swordplay. It looks so great. *_*

I'm still not quite sure why the music cut out right after Eruruw walked over to Hakuoro at the end of the episode... would've been nice if they had kept that song going.

As for the preview of episode 16...

Hmmh...haven't played the game and read online summaries till the very end but...if Hakuoro happens to revert to his (I know it's not the correct term, but whatever) "demonic" body in the next few eps (which I do hope), I would be quite delighted.

Now that is the way to deal with annoying people. Just tear them a new one. Or more.:D

i love how the animation studio is so inventive with the swordplay. oboro's flashy moves. karura's heaving of touka off her sword on the bridge. and last episode when touka arrived to help hakuoro and did all that spinning xD

Well, good episode IMO.

A lot of action, and finally Niwe has been silenced. No more cackling laugh like his. Hope no one is gonna apply for a replacement.

Hakuoro is impressive in his true form and also... UGLY. Man, he's really a beast.

As always, Karura ranks top in the episode for me. Charismatic, strong, pretty and a divine voice. What more could you ask?

I'm in a good mood today. So a 9, which is the highest note I've given to an episode of this show so far.

Utawarerumono is just an elaborate advertisement for the upcoming Spider-man 3 movie starring Venom! here's the proof!



really good episode tho the rehashed use of hakuoro and touka's fighting scenes
from just one episode prior killed it a little

Ding dong the laugh is dead, the laugh is dead, ding dong the crappy laugh is deaaaaaad....

Disembowlment ftw, hakuoro is beastly! Though the light-deprived soldiers were somewhat dissapointing. I guess they were just totally outclassed by kayuya and touka :D

and a big thanks to touka for finally letting hakuoro use a sword, as much as i like the tessen seeing him use a katana felt good.

Every single conflict is just another sword/melee fight. In critical need of some more variety here. And in addition they still have their invulnerability aura about.

Getting dreadfully dull imo. The next episode better not be another freakin attack from random country C.

From what it looks like from the preview, I predict Hakuoro'll be emo again and asks what the hell he is. I doubt there'll be lots of fighting in ep 16, probably more talk :X

Um... would now be a bad time to tell you that Utawarerumono is essentially about Hakuoro and is a war epic? XD

Bah Romance of Three Kingdoms is so boring it's all about what country invades what and how the other defended and wars and battles and bleah bleah. Next episode better not be another country A vs country B.

Bah Star Trek is so boring it's all about some stupid sci-fi event that happens and Jordi goes "oh, I'll just phase-sift the quantum drive beyond its theoretical limit, and everything should be fine. It'll take 15 minutes" and it's over bleah.

Bah Kamen Rider is so dull and boring, it's always some moronic evil organization that seemed to be focused on attacking the same damn Japanese town (and never anywhere else) just to get their ass whooped by the rider bleah. The next episode better not be another bad guy C invading the miserable town.

Bah porn is so boring and dull, it's always a girl taking it from another guy. Or two guys. It's always the same thing over and over bleah.

Oh wait, the last one isn't always true. :upset:

lolz..nice talk, well...Karura sure displayed some powerful stunts around...thou the reused scene...oh well, at least it doesn't suck like GSD
