Aegisub is currently in stage of being ported to the Mac OS platform, apparently with not too much progress so far. Maybe in a few months you'll be able to use it on Mac OS. Another one is Sabbu, however I don't know as to how good/useful this one is.
But what bayoab suggested about the Virtual Machine is quite a good idea, however it might not work at times... http://www.malakith.net/aegiwiki/Sub...are_comparison |
Good luck with Mac, I had a hard enough time trying to get the Linux version to work on Ubuntu. That's the only reason I had to come back to XP (which I loathe).

I got this mac occasionally so i'm totally newbie... hix, it really trouble me... except it's graphic really awesome!! have to try out sayu and sabbu ^_^ thanks guys! |
If you've got an Intel Mac you can boot directly into Windows using Boot Camp. It's *not* a virtual machine, it's simply a Windows machine that happens to have been built by Apple. Handy for running apps like subtitlers where there isn't much of a good option for OSX. Of course it'd be nicer to have stuff in OSX and not have to switch off, but that isn't always an option.
