Why do I always open the new KLK thread as soon as I notice it, even though I know the episode hasn't even aired yet? What am I expecting to see? ^_^

I couldn't not make it. I'm amazed there aren't 30 different versions in this thread each week.

Could someone tell me what time the new episode airs in Japan so that I may avoid reading the deliberately vague comments on it on this thread and go in without any set expectations as I wait for the raw?

Mahou Showtime is your best resource on airing times in Japan. Kill la Kill airs just a few minutes from now at 2:05 am JST, Friday.

The new opening mops the floor with the first one and it usually takes time for me to make these opinions

Interesting episode. Life Fibers were from space. So I am guessing they are planning to awaken the Life Fibers then take over the humans.

Ryuko was mad because of the thought of Senketsu being treated as a weapon

9/10 finally things are starting to become more clear

The concept behind Life Fibers evolving humans sounds similar to how Spiral Powers were also related to humans' evolution.

So I can see why they didn't release the new intro before now - apart from the Elite's new uniforms it still shows Ryuko at odds with Satsuki when many thought the 'pivotal event' in 15 would be some sort of team up. Also Nudist Beach are clearly going to be far more significant from here on in. Ragyo/Nui/Sunglasses shown very much separate though. Great OP though (though I liked the old one too) ;)

The way the blood splattering fight between Satsuki and Ryuuko make up the text "Kill la Kill" is pretty nice.

Satsuki moaning is nice too.
