- Welkin gets arrested by Alicia after getting caught lying down on a cart full of hay. She hands him to the Bruhl town watch.

- Alicia gets more involved here in the manga like Welkin (e.g. first blood on her uniform after killing an Imperial commando with a knife near Welkin's throat, Alicia helping Martha evacuate)

- The Edelweiss is used, but only as an escape vehicle and not to help Alicia and town watch personnel escape.

- Welkin gets first blood after shooting an Imperial soldier in an overruned elementary school building, lots of blood in there.

- Alicia breaks down after she saves Welkin from the schoolhouse by gunning down the knife-wielding Imperial soldier.

- Welkin's old man was shown in the manga, especially how he died (In the chapter, he died while resting on his rocking chair after Welkin brought him flowers)

- The usual "Welkin and Alicia" are recruited into the Gallian militia forces as militia personnel.

- More interaction between Welkin, Alicia and Isara with some of the Squad 7 soldiers (Wavy and Nadine are seen for Darcsen-to-Darcsen interaction). Rosie and Largo are here. But the latter's somehow drawn... ugly I guess.

- More of the Squad 7 guys such as Homer and Cezary IMO.

- Faldio meets with Welkin. Alicia blushes after meeting Faldio, true to his ladies' man type face.

- Rosie and Isara get to a fistfight. Rosie wins.

- More Squad 7 guys again. Mica and Cherry are some of the people there.

- Welkin greatly encounters more anti-Darcsen hatred from Rosie than in the game.

- More of Ellet's interaction with Welkin and Alicia, which is done in Rangriz IMO. Ellet even did a threatening stare to dissuade him since she wants to interview him

- Faldio and the other Squad 7 militiamen/women find Alicia who made some food (Not sure what it is though, Japanese is a bit okay...). They think Alicia has some "issues" with Welkin. She blushes when Faldio and the others try to figure it out for themselves.

- Edelweiss crosses river to storm Vasel. More graphically done than the VG.

- Some of the Squad 7 militia personnel who are seeing action:

- Hermes, Cherry, Vyse (Who wants to use the stick grenades despite some... known issues with it. He smiles when he held three of them. LOL!), Susie (It was her fault that she ripped the safety cord while trying to put Vyse from using them, making Vyse throw it somewhere)

- Two sniper teams: Team one consists of Cezary watching Oscar. The former covers himself with a blanket of sorts while sniping. Team two consists of Catherine and Marina, the latter firing a shot.

- Wavy and Nadine. Marina IMO fired a shot near him I guess.

- Rosie with one of the younger Shocktroopers. Forgot which one, she's the one who happens to be the youngest among them. Name escapes me the moment.

- Black-haired Shocktrooper wildly firing her SMG (Think it's Jane). She runs around to search for targets to kill while laughing until she gets knocked down in the face.

- Largo and Jann, the latter giving him some food wrapped in some cloth. Largo's lance is the culprit for knocking out Jane.

Jann says that he's giving Largo a "Bento", which is strange considering it's not the bento we know in a traditional sense.

- Welkin lies on the ground, happy that the Vasel operation's complete. Alicia has Welkin's hand on her lap. She then moves her head near Welkin, but bump heads instead with each other.

- Faldio examines a corpse. Fina the medic talks to him.

- All militia squads return safely. Alicia feels a strange reaction going through her. One vision includes a woman touching Welkin (There was a woman with blonde hair and glasses, I suppose this is Juno. She's Welkin's university classmate/friend who gets drafted to the militia as a scout)

- DAN DAN DAN DAN!!!

Selvaria encounters Alicia, with her Valkyrie weapons. She introduces herself in a cool way when she walks by Alicia.

One of the lines mentioned by her:

Selvaria: "If the Empire does not interfere, life would be taken by force."

(I translated the last one though fast. Very easy but I wish I'd had more Japanese language familiarity)

Selvaria: "Selvaria Bles. The Empire's Valkyria." (She says this after Alicia asks who she is, probably for the "feeling")

Cezary actually orders Oscar not to provide cover for any of the Darcsens in the squad, to which a nonplussed Oscar replies that Cezary isn't the squad's commanding officer.

Cezary then spots an Imperial sniper, but when he sees that the sniper is targeting Nadine he lowers his rifle. From another position further away, Marina promptly takes out the sniper, while Catherine compliments her on her skill. When Nadine realises what happened, the only friendly sniper she can see is Cezary (who stood up from cover in the meantime) so she bows to him in gratitude, much to his exasperation.

After reading the last few lines, my interpretation of Selvaria's exchange with Alicia is something like:

Selvaria: If you do not interfere with the Imperial forces, your life will be spared. We will not kill the remnants of a defeated army. Mercy is also necessary on the battlefield. Don't you think so, young lady of Gallia?

Alicia: W...who are you?!

Selvaria: Selvaria Bles. The Empire's Valkyria.
