The parts with Chiyuri are still awkward and frustrating as hell... Whatever she's planning, it'll be hard to make up for all this stupid "You don't understand me" mess. And who takes off her shirt with situations like that?!?!?

I was anticipating Haru saying "Believe in me, who believes in you" at one point lol.

On the other hand, I wouldn't mind getting bitten by Pard :)

And waking up in marshmallow heaven after a full dive ;)

This episode features:

-Pard being awesome, it seems Rust ended pretty pissed off and will return soon or later.

-Chiyu being...well, Chiyu XD.


- Noumi's suffering (?).

Seraching for Rust Jigsaw..
Seems like that incarnate system is no joke.
Well, he found them. It was a good fight.
I like that Blood Leopard's attacks ^^
Oh man... Nomi & Chiyu even started to make their move outside school.
That's not good at all.
Haru sure came to some interesting findings.
One-on-one with Nomi. Just how dumb is that? Guess we'll find out next time.

Noumi's face was epic, it might be the best face of the season:D
Just wow at Chiyu's pace, 2 levels in 1 day (real time)? Facing two rare abilities, flying and healing, in a tag team apparently throws many players off, kind of how Haru got over 70% winning percentage at the beginning before he was shot down.

The maid left the biggest impression, awesome speed and ability. Sucking the special gauge from Haru and what looked like health from Rust Jigsaw. The only question is, why is her avatar red? They are all long range types, even her killing moves are close combat, a blue one would suit her better.
Though that indicates that even if you're not putting your skill points into the obvious choice based on your colour, with enough skill you're still awesome;)

You totally notice how the author for AW and SAO are the same, NerveGear ftw:heh:
Wonder if we get more SAO in AW, like how deadly virtual gaming was 2 decades ago...

As for Blood Leopard...I think the "Blood" says it all. As in her ability to drain the opponent's Special Gauge.
I guess even if a Duel Avatar is of a certain color, it doesn't mean they have to focus on the fighting style of that color.
Pard is using her abilities in the most efficient way...the predator way :D

And for an avatar with "Rust" in his name...his weapons sure aren't rusty. :rolleyes:

Another interesting episode. Chiyu frustrates still, and her reasoning... what was her reasoning again? Oh yeah, "I do what I want to do." Seriously, no matter her reason, keeping quiet about it is not being realistic. Friends that are supposed to be that close to each other usually confide in one another.

As for Black Lotus possibly losing? Nope. She already figured out how to beat one in Okinawa. Another one, no problem. She will probably chop off Nomi's head in a flash, and do the permanent chopping off (like she did with Sky Raker's legs).

The best part of this episode is definitely Pard. She was just awesome all the way around. Her battle experience is so much higher than Silver Crow. I can't believe that she is only level 6. I would have thought that she would be a level 8 player.

From what she's been doing and how Haru still believes in her, we might be witnessing the old adage "To fool your enemy you need to fool your friends first".

I definitely enjoyed the second pic, that's what happens when a rat is exposed for who he really is. His downfall will be epic, and too sweet.

Off with his head? I like the sound of that. And she wouldn't mourn him like she did Red Rider. Too sweet. :D

Geez, is this arc still not over? I can't bring myself to start watching it before it ends, still stuck on the beginning of episode 18. Watching Noumi bores me to tears.

get used to it this season of AW is going to be ending with this Arc. Also it may just be me because I seem to be immune to all the rage but this arc hasn't bothered me all that much.

Can't wait. Almost time for the final battle! I liked the mini mention of the SAO equipment.

IDK, for some reason I'm starting to like crazy Noumi :heh:

Anyways nice SAO references. Although everything seems to be falling into place. Usually the second duel goes to the previous loser so I would think things would go better for this duel.

Oh I get it now the first Chrome Disaster was created using the Incarnate System!

Back when Kuroyukihime explained how the last hateful words of one player gave birth to Chrome Disaster he used the Incarnate System to do it. This is the reason that IS was made a forbidden technique by the older players and many of the new don't know about it.

Well we finally get to see another of Dusk Takers allies Rust Jigsaw that just leaves one one more I get the feeling they're saving the best for last.

Nice detective skills there Haru I also loved the nod to the SAO era helmet. So he's finally on even ground with Noumi but instead of ratting him out he's once again tries to take the moral high ground and challenges him to a winner take all duel.

Sometimes I just don't know if Haru is brave or just suicidal at times...:heh:

so Sword Art Online and Accel World is really related since the Nerve Gear that is being use on Sword Art Online is an old technology of Accel World lol

and also Chiyu is confirmed on being in love with Haru, and that Nomi is plotting something bad again... i hope Haru and Taku defeat him next time already

and that is why the Incarnate System is a secret because it is the power that made Chrome Disaster... looks like the more you use the Incarnation the more you lust for power until you become crazy and turn into a monster lol

Well of course there are going to be continuity nods both are written by the same creator. However I don't think we'll be seeing any SAO characters in AW since the writer has stated he won't be making any cross overs or anything.

I don't totally believe that. I think it has to do in part with the persons mindset after all the guy who created Chrome Disaster sounded like he was giving off a lot of negative vibes. I mean he did curse Accel World with his dieing breath and imprinted his will there so his hate and rage could keep reincarnating. Now dose that sound like someone stable to you?
