Yea seriously. At least put a second season on the negima series... This is completly way off track...

By the way

something tells me it's going to be a climatic end... then suddenly it's an "anone" end. Like kashimashi....

Is it just me or the popularity of this show just plummeted? or is it because there is not enough sub? Either way I am just gonna watch the show for the characters....and that's only when they are drawn nice. To tell you the truth, they should just get rid of Negi and have the whole show revolve around 3-A before Negi show up or something. I think Negi in this show is just a detraction, and sadly the show will do much better without him.

Its a combination of the very slow subs... and irritation from severa; viewing camps:
1) the manga camp which really isn't happy with the parallel universe and what was wrong with taking segments from the existing material dammit. :)

2) the other manga camp which would be fine with "negima alternative" except that there doesn't seem to be much plot to go with this thing... just lots of pretty pictures, comedy bits, and just random stuff.

3) the Shinbou-is-God camp which feels like Shinbo got this started but then left the fricking building and no one is at the helm so its just drifting. (actually since he's working two+ series simultaneously.. this may be exactly what happened).

So there's lots of people to piss off... I'm actually in all 3 camps. I'd rather have the manga adaptation, I'm fine with Negima alternative, where's the plot?, and where's the Shinbo? he's not at the wheel.

So far... there's been enough interesting art, bits, and postcard omake to keep me watching, though I get a little annoyed at the speed at which he cuts from scene to scene ..... I guess he's taunting the viewer to freeze frame every two seconds.

I'm also watching the other series he's directing: Hidamari Sketch (not yet subbed) ... he seems to be giving that show a lot more love so far.

Hmm... The 'last supper' scene was interesting somewhat to me. (although... Takamichi has his elbows on the table, being the only one in the scene to do to, as does Judas in da Vinci's original.)
