Final VOTE!! Winter Banner Contest 2004
 

Welcome to the final round. The rules are simple. 1 grand prize winner and 2 runner ups will be chosen. These three winners will all be displayed at the top of the forum. (Though we don't promise not to display any others we choose.) The banner with the highest number of votes will be the grand prize winner. A moderator (Hellychan) may not win the grand prize. No single contestant may win twice (that means GG_Luna128). The poll will close on December 23 after exactly 5 days of voting. All votes made by people who registered after December 7 (as well as any other votes that I deem improper) will be disqualified to reduce cheating. Polls close automatically so please check the poll for information concerning when it will close in your timezone. Note that December 21 is the first day of Winter, so hopefully we'll have the winning banners up very quickly.

The grand prize is a $35 gift certificate to Amazon.com generously donated by GHDpro.

I choose Muir Woods' banner. The scenery is nice to look at and it doesn't heavily use falling snow like the other banners.

arrrrrgh, I'm soooo torn between diabolistic, sarcarsteak and wao's, it's soooo hard to choose :eyespin:

Hehe seeing how the Nominations went, I'm probably not going to win this. Well, mind as well see what it would look like if it did go on top as the winter banner.

Go Go sarca, I'm with you till the bitter end!

My two favourites are the GG_Luna128 - 13 and RedEyes - 33 banners. I like the Luna banner because the font and picture (and background) really do compliment each other. But RedEyes banner is also a favourite of mine because I'm such a big fan of One Piece. I love the kid's vibe you get from it.

Overall, I like the Luna banner just a bit more.

I'm sticking with the one I was cheering for from the start.

I am a bit sad however that none of those two Evangelion banners made to the final poll.

Thank God there's no Naruto banner up for nomination!

I voted for this one, but it was a really hard choice, since all of the banners are really nice this time around.

Only one vote gave me a tough time to make a choice. But eventually I voted for Mr_Paper. I must see the banner on the top of Animesuki. Go Mr_Paper's 21 go!

Sine I still think it's the best looking banner up there. Mr_Paper's is a pretty close second, though. I'm not sure how ggLuna's banners are supposed to be about winter though. They're just generic bishoujo with a snowflake effect added in. At least Sugar and the Kanon banners from the previous round were from shows with a lot of snow. These are just... normal. Oh well, at least they're designed well.

I voted for wao as well; I think it is the best one up there. I also like sarc's and had a hard time choosing between the two, but in the end I found wao's to be just a little better.
