Aria wants to be dubbed? If they get the right actors to do it, sure why not? I just want the OVAs to get release instead though. Aria looked horrendous on BD though.

A crowdfunding for a dub? I'd rather crowdfund a new ARIA series.

There's barely any material left to adapt so that's probably not happening. I don't think the Avenire episodes were ever released in the west so that's the first time you can get those officially in the west. The release format will be in blu-ray too with 5.1 audio so that's a nice upgrade. Lastly I'm just excited to be able to vote with my wallet for this kind of series to be made and brought to this side of the world.

Same here. I'm seeing this as a way to vote with my wallet for the type of show Aria represents more than anything else. I don't particularly care for the dub but its great to get the new OVAs out in the west. I won't even be getting the blurays since there's no way for me to play them (hurray for bluray regions :( )

Nozomi Entertainment's Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign to provide an English dub for its HD release of Aria the Animation reached the stretch goal to dub all remaining Aria anime works on Tuesday. This includes Aria the OVA ~Arietta~, the Aria the Origination television anime (including the unaired special episode 5.5 and picture dramas), and the Aria the Avvenire original video anime. The campaign also reached the stretch goal to add the live-action extras centering on the Aria the Avvenire staff.

I'd love to, but it would take a long time to make an ARIA sequel manga & Athena needs a new VA if Sato-sensei & Amano-sensei wants to..(my favorite would be Saori Hayami/Mamiko Noto)

I'd love to see the Avenire OVA turned into at least a 12 episode series. I've been dreaming of a Ai-chan focused sequel ever since the last scene of Origination. And now excuse me while I go chase those bastard onion chopping ninjas that must have shown up again :heh:
