Anyone think this episode is a good place for the new OP to show up?

I think so cause its past the halfway point :D

For the recording, and not completely unrelated since it's always a J.C.Staff series and they also share staff members (i.e. same art director for Shana 2 and To Aru Majutsu), the first series of Shakugan no Shana kept the same OP from ep. 1 to 16, and featured a new one from ep. 17 to 24. The ED was the same from ep. 1 to 14, while from 15 to 23 there was an ED2 (in the last episode the ED was the OP1).

In Shakugan no Shana Second, OP1 ep. 1-15 , OP2 from 16 onwards, ED1 1-15, ED2 16-23, ED3 ep.24.

If they follow that canvas, we might see the old OP again in this episode, while the ED may change. It is not certain that we'll get to see the two new themes in the same episode, anyway.

Nope Shana's Ep17 of first season and Ep16 of second season is the beginnings of the new arc, so it make sense to bring the new Op theme right there.
If they apply the same rule with index , there will be a chance for Op 2 in Ep.15(Hope for it )

Then again, that Index is just some old... I mean, middle-aged wife, after all. This Mikoto is a... was it, cousin? That calls me... Tch, I mean, Touma "big brother" after all. Not even a match.

I have confirmed... JC Staff definitely has taken some liking to that leech of an air heroine, Index... Enough to spend 5-6 minutes of the episode to give anime original Index fanservice... Instead of anime original fanservice, let's spend that time on some explanations... Like any. I already know what is going on, but the anime-only watchers probably went ????? from the part that started to follow the novel...

But more than that... MORE THAN THAT... WHAT CAN'T BE forgiven is the role of Imouto! :frustrated: UooooooooooooooOOOO!!! Where's the

Putting that aside, it was very enjoyable. The serious part was barely explained and left people hanging, but the comedy made me laugh until tears came out, especially when Index=Blue-Hair appeared. Iya~, that was priceless.
The other random body switches=Angel Fall were also hilarious to watch.
Fanservice galour. For lolicons. very delicious. Mikoto is.

With no doubt, Mikoto body+Otohime mind=SUPER LOLICON TREAT! :love:
Too bad Otohime doesn't make any real appearances... :(
But the anime even went so far as to give her a character design! GJ, Staff!

Misha's voice... Good. At worst, because she was a loli as well, that voice could have come...
But it didn't... Safe, safe.

JC Staff parodies... :heh:

And as always, the sense in SE from the staff is amusing, in a bad way. First, there was that LEVEL UP music during the tower scene in the 2nd arc, and the SE during the water was... what? Pyoo~N!, was it... *laugh*

Also... you really dislike Index

Just that
1. She plays no role in the story, yet the anime somehow always attempts to waste time on useless scenes on her (AKA, like the wonderful adventures of Index in the third arc)
2. She does nothing but leach off of Touma. Cute, but that's it.
3. Ind...ex?
I just wish Index's appearance time was kept the same as the novels, that's all (it would help in many ways)... I personally don't feel any hate towards Index, just to make sure. Rather... her treatment can be irritating.

I really think they need to give Index more of a plot rathar than just be a comedy act in the show:( She's my favorite character, but I hate that even when they gave her an arc she was unconcious half the time-_-

Until then, just watch her do nothing everytime she is on screen. :)

Lol at the porn video. Making Index bite Touma.

Oh Shit guess Mikoto and Misaka Imouto is a no go.

Touma can't see those two and think his sister and whatever sexual thought would be classified as a siscon.

Worse on Index as it would be an Oedipus complex.
