Yes, I'm overreacting, but I was really hoping that they'd stick more to the lineart.

i find the wings design kinda weird though i like the head now....1 of my fave MS in Destiny also.....:uhoh: :eyespin:

Good for you. Freedom is excellent. I have both MG freedom and MG wing zero custom. Had thought of MG rouge before.. but then... got other stuff to collect so... but you should be proud of those 2 that you got.

Sety 2006-08-31 15:39

The X1 is unfortunately backordered and I'd rather they all be from one place as its less hassle (and shipping)

Gundam Pilot 2006-08-31 19:41

The Gundam Models are awesome but pretty expensive though!

SNT1 2006-08-31 19:52

have you tried:

www.gundamstoreandmore.com
www.imageanime.com
www.hoaoutlet.com
www.rainbowten.co.jp
www.1999.co.jp/eng/gundam

?

Tak 2006-08-31 20:03

Personally I use

www.hlj.com for most of my Gundam needs...

The_Marshal_AEB 2006-09-01 03:07

I ALWAYS use www.amenbo.com/toj.html and I have used hlj once before and it pissed me off, even tisinc99 pissed me off

srb 2006-09-01 18:51

Wow, the Powered GM kit looks lovely! All of Bandai's new engineering thingies seems to give us an impressively posable kit.

It's kind of funny when you look at how well it's done, and then look at SF Lightning Edition, which costs like ten times as much and has MUCH less posability - which isn't surprising, considering it uses old 1/144 engineering scaled up to 1/60.

How suitable it is that my favourite GM lays such a smackdown on my least favourite Gundam, SF.

subaruhess 2006-09-02 15:34

Is this a 1/100 blast impulse?

http://static.flickr.com/91/227990026_9079619730_o.jpg

Sety 2006-09-02 15:50

I'm pretty sure thats the 1/144, theres no 1/100 Blast Impulse and also the detail on the white bits looks way too simple to be any 1/100 model. Only thing which looks that basic are the SEED line of 1/144 No Grades.

DarkWarrior 2006-09-02 15:55

Actually that's probably the MSiA Blast Impulse. There's absolutely no way that a NG could pull off poses like that.

subaruhess 2006-09-02 16:22

Sety the detail looks off because the photo is a bit blurry, I can make out the detail is similar to the 1/100 version. Darkwarrior this is definately not the MSIA, because I compared it & the MISA blast impulse has a massive thick shield/body proportion. The shield this blast impulse has is really thin, plus the body is exactly the same design as the existing 1/100 force/sword impulse. A good way to tell the scale is the design of the proportions, and I'm pretty sure that this is a 1/100 scale blast impulse. Either that or it is an extremely well made kitbash.

DarkWarrior 2006-09-02 19:45

So it's a kitbash? Looks pretty good, but then again the photo is pretty blurry. It's sad that Bandai ignored the Blast Impulse, but that's not surprising considering that many people (including me) don't seem to give a damn about Impulse.

Siege 2006-09-02 20:53

Have Just Ordered Some new 1/144th scale suits from HLJ

Strike Freedom
Infinite Justice
Shiranui Akatsuki
Destiny
Legend
Force Impulse

I did so crazy Paint jobs on the original SF and IJ

If you're that sure its a 1/100 than its definitely a kitbash as 1/100 Blast Impulse was never made. S-Destiny had a badly managed line of models, they didn't make ones for a large majority of the regular MS. Blast Impulse, Gaia, Abyss and Windam's to name a couple and a ridiculous ammount of Zaku re-colours.

It's very likely that Bandai has a finished 1/100 or 1/144 HG Blast backpack and has had it since early SEED-D, they can sit on stuff for quite some time before it's released, especially if they feel that it may not be as popular as they would hope at the time it's released.

Or, they're well aware of kitbashing, and are just milking people's money.

They did make a 1//144 Blast backpack hence why I thought it was 1/144 and on that note thats what kinda confuses me why they never made a 1/100 Blast.

subaruhess 2006-09-04 06:25

I think it was mentioned on gunota that bandai were looking into the blast impulse design for the existing 1/100 scale kit. Seriously all that needs to be done is remold the colours of the armour and make the blast silhouette. The blast pack is not a complicated design either, should be cheaper to do than re-releasing tons of EXF kits they keep churning out. Bandai really need to start releasing new kits!

dodgethis_sg 2006-09-04 06:57

What Bandai needs to do is start working on kits that rivals that of Hasegawa's Macross line in terms of details and decals.

I must get my hands on the 1/100 Saviour, it looks really great

DarkWarrior 2006-09-04 09:25

I still think Saviour's new wings look odd. But the rest of the model looks really sharp, so I can't complain. And no mention of a stand.. ahh damn. :(

Vallen Chaos Valiant 2006-09-04 09:36

I like the idea of the Kerberos heads being a component of the Wizard pack. It also makes sense plot-wise, as it is cheaper to build packs and retrofitting them on Bucues than to build entirely new MSs for such a minor role as a melee upgrade.

The extra heads function as flexible "arms" that have built in mouth-canons and beam blades. I can imagine this to be handy if the pilot is skillful enough; but operating two extra appendages in battle isn't anywhere as easy as it might sound, perhaps even harder than using Dragoons.

How about putting one of those on a Dom? That would look good in a Jet-stream attack.;)

Oh, another thing; the Stargazer Gundam model kit's manual apparently would tell you all about its capabilities, but since we won't get it until November it would be too late. By then all of us would be spoiled on all matters Stargazer related.

LightningZERO 2006-09-04 09:45

It mentions that the Stargazer model has the same lighting effect in the show?

Still... how could they afford it? It's a HG!

A 1680 yen 1/144 scale model kit can't have a powered lighting system... Hell, even Master Grades don't get that kind of treatment. Unless some ingenious invention was thought up in the Bandai labs, powered lights theoretically was reserved only for Perfect Grades...

Still, one can dream.:)

Maybe a retooling of the PG line with two or maybe even three a year?

Also, HIGH GRADE BUCUE!!
