I have just recently been able to buy the first of the four .Hack// games and was wondering if any one know about a online version of it.(No Forum Nockoffs, please) Any info on to it's location would be apretiated. Also, I want to ask all that view this thread...... "Should a true online game like 'The World' be created in this generation." Thank you and i hope to hear for many of you.

You ask "Should a true online game like 'The World' be created in this generation", do you really mean "should". I would of thought that "Could a true online game like 'The World' be created in this generation" makes a more suitable question. Or at least a more suitable point of discussion.

In addition, I've removed the poll you created. Sorry but a poll with just a "Yes / No" answer is rather pointless and that in itself discourages replies and further discussion. If people want to comment and discuss then they can post here.

As long as its not like .hack//FRAGMENT, I'm all for it. I kinda think they would stick w/ doing the games till they've exhausted the story, tho cuz they've said in interviews that they wouldnt make a real online game, due to it destroying the illusion of an online game, tho that promise was broken when they created FRAGMENT, which I believe to be nothing more but an attempt to gather information about current gen online gamers for .hack//GU.

yea i played all the Havk games I would be very very very hapy if they do make a MMO based on the "The World" :p

I hope that someday we will have a game like "The World".... Even if it can make me die, I'll still play it.....

If they ever do, I'll have to get a job since I dont see them running such an advanced game online for free and I doubt it'll be cheap. *Shudders at the thought of monthly fees*

Well im surprised that anyone came here after the mod told me to stop. In any case, if you want to have proof that we are doing as we say clik on my sig and it will take you to the fourms that me and about 20 more people are working on a non-Fragment mmorpg. Oh by the way the game is going to be free, since it is already made into a platform game (PS2), we cant make a profit on it anyway.

ive played most of the .hack//games and would surely like to experience how to play the "the world" hehe
