I wonder if they are heading towards a Lafter x Akihiro scene :naughty: :naughty:

Welp! Mika recognizes you even with the Mask Chocolate Man. McGillis wants also Tekkadan's help in cleaning up Gjallarhorn. He asks them not to tell Kudelia. As he will help Kudelia to the meeting as the Montag Company whose goal is metal rights like Nobliss and McMurdo if Mars gets economic independence.

The Airanhod fleet commander is an idiot for almost attacking Kudelia while their dirty laundry is exposed for the entire solar system to see. The Earth Orbital defense group is no better with their eccentric female commander. One that has no love for Gaelio. Meanwhile Gaelio tells Ein not to beat himself up as he saved him. Ein is a victim of discrimination between Earth and Martian branches of Gjallarhorn.

Meanwhile at one of the Earth power blocs an official is in cahoots with Gjallarhorn. Meanwhile the official who is Kudelia's contact is having a pre-celebration. Thinking himself as prince charming to the rescue to Kudelia's princess. He doesn't see her as a maiden of revolution but his lady luck. Seems elections are coming up.

Harem end for Mika. As he comforts both his crying women.
Kudelia isn't the only one who mourns Fumitan's death so does the rest of the crew.

Mikazuki just reveals Chocomask identity like nothing.
Todo reappears.
Old man acting like a princess waiting for her prince charming....you got the gender opposite old hermit.

tsunade666 2016-02-07 07:25

lol, Mika casually greeting chocolate man. well, things are getting interesting with chocolate man's faction betting for reformation of Gjallarhorn and the old man/people waiting for the maiden of revolution. Weird woman waiting for the others to attack.

This is weird. two girls for the gundam mc pilot. Its usually otp for this series that its the first time for me. I had watched, wing, x, g, v, 00, seed +destiny, and age. Even builders are otp but not counting the disastrous builder try.

Lol GBF had everyone OTP it up except Ral and Meijin (well at least in GBF, can be implied in GBFT) as much as i loathe to mention Try

Well I think I can speak for most of us when I say I really enjoyed the character interactions this time around

Eins and Gaelio's conversation was nice, it put in the spotlight how Mars and Earth view each other, and made both their characters more likeable

Girls, I can tell you're drooling over Akihiro's and Norba's toned abs, dont deny it

Choco man/McGillis goal is clearly stated (as we all thought/figured out), so for now he's helping them (with Todo as an assistant in-tow apparently)

Mika, whats with your nose? You instantly smelled him out like a dog rofl, Choco man didnt bother to deny it either and launched right into his motivations, nice

Biscuit and Orga are getting a better picture of where Tekkadan stands, and the realization that they need to change their positions so that they are equals, rather than the mere pieces on the board they are at the moment

The new Gjallerhorn commander is.......eccentric, and she and Gaelio don't seem to hold each other in very high regards at all, should be fun seeing that dynamic in action later

Old man.....are you going senile? You're not a princess.......you can do better than that

Atra's still extremely observant and open hearted

Kudelia is making big steps, I like despite how she's shaping it the show clearly shows all the things affecting her. Fumi's death, working with the man (McGillis which lead to the situation, sort of), the responsibilities she has to bear, her own powerlessness, etc. However she now has even more determination to move forward and change to fulfill her goal. Not only that, she has Mika and Atra to replace Fumi now as people she can lean on and confide to

And to wrap it all up, Mika is going to have a harem assuming nobody dies, I likey

Great episode :)

Next week we get to see the Grimgerde and Teiwaz's new machines!!! Woot! And more political stuff

I shipped these two the moment they're practicing MS battles with each other

So it seems mineral rights and election are in contention. It really helps not having one Earth government.

I cringe a bit at the speech, but I like everything else about Kudelia this episode. It really feels like she could be the main character of this series.

That female officer is silly. I like it. (It's too bad she's probably going to die.)

Obelisk ze Tormentor 2016-02-07 07:52

Damn, I can't say much with this phone of mine and unreliable connection since I'm traveling right now. But I just wanna say that Mika recognized chocoman like a boss and hugs his two waifus like a boss too :D. Oh, and the new female enemy reminds me of Cima from Gundam 0083 and a little bit of Rondo Mina Shahaku from Astray manga :heh:.

Tenzen12 2016-02-07 07:58

I laughed on this episode probably more that I should:heh:

Kabuki girl was hilariously hammy (and she probably trained for it even!), Mika follow Naze example spectacularly and even though he isn't good in remembering names he probably didn't even considered McGillis mask to be disguise.

Oh and I think if there will be another one or two Lafter x Akihiro scenes like this, I will be not able maintain plausible deniability about their relationship. Not that I mind, Akihiro is good guy and deserve to get someone.

Boukenxha 2016-02-07 07:58

That lady commander of the Outer Earth Orbit Regulatory Joint Fleet (what a mouthful) actually sorta reminds me of Chara Soon. Not a fan of her makeup, but I wouldn't mind if she is as entertaining a character as Chara Soon. :heh:

Oh and heck of a gamble there by Kudelia, colloquially that takes some "balls of steel". :heh:

For me, she reminds me a bit of Chara Soon of Double Zeta

Faux Mecha 2016-02-07 08:09

dear god, that weird eyebrows lady officer was acting like a Super Sentai villain giving speeches to her minions, & Ein's issue was racism? he even wanted the Alya Vijana surgery to be preformed on him despite Gaelio's warnings saying because of his blood status that he never see's himself as human,

so i guess Mika is a Char type character proof, he can see through the mask, :heh:
dude is boss, he had a threesome moment when the girls were crying.......

i think somebody is going to make a BAD END joke for Tekkadan & the journalists if Kudelia's speech didn't work & had all of them get killed in the process, they all would blame her before their deaths. :uhoh:

Appearance-wise, maybe. But she doesn't strike me as a dumb/silly person like Chara Soon :heh:. Hammy maybe, but not stupid. I guess we'll see where her character will go.

Skye629 2016-02-07 08:39

I think the whole Chara Soon connection comes from how eccentric she is

Then she seems to have a dash of that more commanding/intimidating female officer mixed in

So overall she's going to be fun to watch just going from that combo

Stark700 2016-02-07 08:45

Lol Mika isn't afraid of anything, not even that mysterious Chocolate Man. I'm actually surprised at how casually that conversation went.

Good for Aina as she uses words rather than just violence to survive there.
The ending hit them hard knowing that Fumitan is never coming back. Never forget ;_;

That female officer with a Korean-sounding name is... odd.

And you can't hide from Mika, Choco Mask. He can smell your Axe Chocolate perfume from miles away. :p

Todo is with Choco Mask? Now this is interesting.

QSTraderDG86 2016-02-07 09:50

The ending...ROFL. Mika's just so straightforward. "But you're crying too."

Lulz. Atra's planning an OT3 and Mika is blissfully unaware. And of course, it seems the nose knows :heh:. Lulz chocolate man.
