You mean 1/100'd? Because the Ahead and GN-XIII already have 2 HG kits each :heh:

I'm just waiting for the inevitable HG Garazzo and Arche Gundam :D

Tormenk 2008-12-16 11:43

Well yes 1/100. Seems like the terms get mixed up when I'm using it sometimes. :heh:

Inevitable yes but the wait can be oh so long, as proven by the Gadessa. Which just gave me a thought.

Screw Aheads. Give me 1/100 Arche anyday. :D

The Thrones from season 1 never grew to 1/100... :(

Sadly....:uhoh:

00's 1/100 line really hasn't been about milking our money as much as they can, which is disappointing for a change. The three Thrones are similar enough (especially their legs) so you'd figure they roll them out back to back to back. The same thing can be said about GN-Xs. The original, Advanced, MK-II and MK-III are quite similar so I am not sure why Bandai isn't milking our money :(

Give it some time and they will. They just need to get the main S2 suits (CB Gundams, Arche, GNZ series) out of the way before they start doing the lesser suits and all their little variations.

Also remember how long it took Blitz Gundam from SEED to make it to 1/100? Looooooong after Freedom and even after Providence was released in 1/100. :eyespin:

Hobby Japan and others HG Seravee:

vektar 2008-12-17 00:48

Seravee would be an awesome looking gundam if it didnt have a huge gundam face on its back.

What you got to be kidding me.The big gundam head make Seravee more interesting to see & unique. At least Seravee does'nt look like Devil Gundam.:heh: Oh,cool Seravee pics Lowe, finally a decent view of Seravee.
They even show the inside of Seravee leg so people won't get funny idea a gundam is hidden in it.

LightningZERO 2008-12-17 01:04

Agree. I love the backpack Gundam head!

I would totally disagree with you at first.

But I've grown to enjoy the design.

However I still think Seravee is a step down from Virtue in terms of detail and "thought" through the design process.

But yea, a giant gundam head is quite sexy now...

I am thinking of getting the 1/144 Overflag or the Graham custum, anyone got comments on those kits ?

Overflag for shure

Overflag is the same as Graham Custom, only the Overflag has more things like the updated rifle.

Get the Overflag if you can. It's got all the parts of the Graham Custom, plus the new Linear Rifle, and stickers and Overflag Squadron dry decal markings.

Though the Overflag is a nice model, mine barely stands.

justsomeguy 2008-12-17 10:47

Does the Overflag have loose joints? Also, the coloring seems to be the inverse of the Graham Custom's.

LoweGear 2008-12-17 10:56

The HG 1/144 Overflag has very stiff joints due to the usage of ABS instead of polycaps in its joints, and can thus hold poses well. A major weakspot though are the shoulders: the Overflag's arms can easily pop out >.>

Tormenk 2008-12-17 11:30

Since the topics on Overflags currently, any comments about the 1/100 Overflag? Christmas' sales have prices being slashed as much as a third of their original price and I'm stuck between the Overflag and Gold Frame for getting a 1/100. Not much better on other areas, since I'm seeing cheaper prices for MG kits like Freedom and Sword/Launcher Strike than what's on sites like HLJ. :eyespin:

On the other hand, the HGUC series are well stocked except for the Hirairoo. Darn thing seems to be extinct in local stores. :(
