Looks like Bandai's Wing Master Grade line is strongly hinted at?

I'm positive that we'll get Leo, but not all its variant. About remastered, NOT ANYTIME SOON. I know you'll ignore this, just saying :P

I was thinking that we're gonna get:

Very Likely
MG Wing Gundam Zero (TV)
MG Wing Gundam Zero (Endless Waltz) Remastered
MG Tallgeese II EW
MG Tallgeese III EW
MG Leo

Maybe
MG Leo (Space Type)

.
.
.
Speaking of Gundam Wing MG's, where's:

MG Heavyarms Kai EW
MG Sandrock Kai EW
MG Nataku EW

Those 3 are missing from the Wing line of MG's.

Obelisk ze Tormentor 2013-01-08 11:42

I personally would like Bandai to use that Tallgeese frame to make MG Mercurius and Vayette more than Leos (after they done making Tallgeese II & III, of course ;)).

suiton629 2013-01-08 12:35

MG Mercurius and MG Vayette.
I think those would be better than the Leo.

So I guess..

Gundam Wing
Wing Gundam Zero
Tallgeese II
Mercurius
Vayette

Gundam Wing Endless Waltz
- Tallgeese III
- Heavyarms Kai
- Nataku
- Sandrock Kai
- Wing Gundam Zero Custom Remastered

What do you guys think about the MG Wing EW line of kits? Is anyone else annoyed that Wing didn't get an updated release for Wing EW and Wing Zero EW?

No I am not annoyed that we do not have it yet, I can just wait. Bandai has been putting out some superb MGs. And they will only get better with time. Why do you keep asking this question? It is not going to make bandai make it any faster. Be patient man.

I got $75 + $10 coupon to spend on GunPla. Not too sure what I should get.
Thinking:

MG Epyon + Action Base 1 (Black). I might start getting into getting all the Wing MG's now..

I also welcome that idea very much. But if that happens, I think Virgo will become a possibility too :)

Yeah, I figure that you're gonna like MG Mercurius since you're a red gunpla collector. :p

Skye629 2013-01-08 20:25

All of the above, and I actually hope we get all those MG Wing kits

I would get:
MG Wing Zero TV/EW
MG Tallgeese III
MG Mercurius (if my bro gets Vayeate)

I also want a MG Taurus in Sanc Kingdom colors, white MSs FTW (extra points if they transform)

This is kinda me, given the Frame name and the need for Wing grunts I'm sure we will get Leo's. However I much rather have Mercurius and Vayette and I do have hope for them given one is considered a Heero suit and since he is the most popular pilot from Wing it gives me hope we will get one.

Honestly Leo is the least interesting thing they could do for me, most grunt from Wing are. Thta being said I would pick up a Virgo 1 in an instant.

I can’t blame you though. IMO The worst offender is that those grunt MSs use rectangle monitors/visors as their heads. Nothing spells “boring” better than that.

Rising Dragon 2013-01-08 23:50

I dunno, I like the rectangle optic more than the Zeon/ZAFT monoeye. Vagan still has the best grunt design philosophy though. :V

Obelisk ze Tormentor 2013-01-09 00:34

Rectangular optic just screams “unimaginative” to me. At least mono-eye with all its “eye movement” looks menacing. The four-eye of A-Laws grunts in 00 looks cool as well. But yes, I agree that Vagan’s MS design is the best (except for that abominable yellow ball MS).

Love the suits from F91, the Crossbone Vanguard I think really do deserve more love.

And also I love the guntank from F91 it is an awesome looking thing imo and would love to see this more than alot of big named suits we're gettting.

Heading over to Hong Kong end of month so I'll be picking up a MG NU if I can but kinda stuff on what else to get when I'm over.
I'm thinking of Strike Noir as always wanted that but then I'd like to try RG out so RX-78 is on the table as well.
Gonna need to look up what I can get, refresh the old grey matter.

suiton629 2013-01-09 14:03

F91... Nah.

I think Bandai should just focus this year on Unicorn for all things UC.
Aside from that, we need more 00, need some more Age, and we need to see releases/remasters for Wing kits, and you all know which MG's I'm talking about by now...ehehehehe

Yeah, it looks great, but the HG Loto works really nice too :)

The MG Strike Noir is great. It comes with a ton of stuff to equip it with, great buy, solid innerframe and it looks menacing on a actionbase :)

Appel 2013-01-09 14:26

Finally ordered the MG Nu Ver.Ka today!^^ I really can't wait to get my hands on it!

suiton629 2013-01-09 20:00

So hm.

If you guys had to choose between the Master Grade line from Wing and Age, which one do you think overall is better and why?

FalsePrime 2013-01-09 20:17

I choose Gundam's based on what I like most, and the designs that I love. If you love them from AGE then get them, if you like Wing then get those.

Quality and the type of build will change from person to person. There are people that think AGE-1 Normal is kit of the year, and others who think Heavyarms or even one of the seed Kits.

None of them are something like Gundam 1.0/Zeta 1.0/Mk II 1.0 where the quality gap is gigantic because of how old the suits are, so again you should always just go with what catches your eye the most.

So what would you choose between Wing & Age MG's...?

If I have to generalize, I’ll chose Wing. So far, each MG from Wing-line interest me (which are many, btw) as I have own most of them. AGE, not so much. So far, I only interested in Sparrow and Darkhound. Still, that might change once I see FX and AGE 3-Norm MGs.

For me personally?

Easily Wing. Katoki's designs are some of the greatest in all of gundam be it Wing EW or Unicorn.

I find the design of the AGE suits to be just horrible and the worst Gundam has seen on the whole since G Gundam with the only ones being decent are the AGE 3 Normal and AGE 3 Orbital.

i would go with wing MG kits. I have heavyarms, sandrock and wing and they are my favorite designs when it comes to gundam. The only thing that i like about age are the HG's. In my opinion some the HG are better than the MG's when it come to Age. It may sound crazy but i like the HG age kits more than the MG's. Example: I had more of an enjoyment build HG Titus than its MG counterpart. Same with Spallow i think the only exception is the age 1 normal, but thats my opinion.

suiton629 2013-01-09 23:30

So 3/3 responses I got from individuals were all Wing MG's..

I mean so far I have these MG's from Wing & Age...

Wing
- Wing Gundam (TV)
- Epyon EW --> coming in the mail from GG Infinite

Age
- Age-1 Normal
- Age-1 Sparrow
- Age-1 Titus
- Age-2 Normal
- Age-2 Darkhound

What's seriously making me a bit hesitant with the Wing MG's line is:

a. no MG Wing Gundam Zero (TV)
b. wanting a remastered MG Wing Gundam Zero (EW)
c. wanting a remastered MG Wing Gundam (EW)

Can't you just buy what you like, instead of asking the same question every page here?

What should i buy? What model should i get? what is better? etc.

Borg drones have more individuality..

Even if they have MGs for Age-2 DB and Age-3 Orbital, without biases, I'd still choose wing MGs. I know, MG Age-1 Normal had some new gimmicks but they aren't exciting. Lack of inner frame details for Age MGs spells "cheat". I don't really care that much about it since they won't be exposed anyway, but how about those who want to detail them up?

I also appreciate MGs of Wing more since some of their MGs aren't available in 1/144 scale or even if they are, the quality is FAR. Age MGs and HGs aren't that far in terms of looks and articulation.

Seconded. The only real downside for this kit for me is that it has so much stuff that you won't know which ones to prop the Strike Noir with.
You got:
  • 3x beam rifles (1 like strike's and 2 like duel's)
  • 2x beam rifle shorties (the pistols)
  • 2x swords
  • 2x rocket anchors
  • 2x wing-mounted rail cannons

Since there was an announcement of a MG Strike remaster, do you guys think that the Strike E's will also get a remaster?

suiton629 2013-01-10 10:06

That's basically the feelings I got w/ the Age MG's lately..

- cheaped out with lack of inner frame details
- not that much articulation

I don't know..

I guess I'll get them all.
I'm just really hoping that Wing gets the MG's that it needs:

http://inb4suiton.blogspot.com/2013/...s-we-need.html

^ Is that list too wishful?

okay man, its your money and you can do what you want with it, besides you have all the age MG's that have been released so why would there be a choice between age and wing. And can you stop saying that the word "we." I can really care less that bandai has not made those kits because I have other hobbies and things to do. My life does not revolve around gunpla. If Bandai makes the kit great. If they don't oh well maybe next time; its that simple to me. Its not what we need it is what YOU want bandai to make, and that simply is not going to make the kits come any faster. You just need to be patient like the rest of us and stop asking question about the same thing.

Definitely the pistols. It’s rare for a gundam to use pistols (mostly rifles and bazookas). Oh, also the anchor-hooks on its hands and feet ;).

I’d say the chance is slim since the E didn’t appear in the SEED Remaster (which is the whole point of Strike 2.0). In fact, at this point, MG Strike Rouge or Freedom have the better chance to be ver.2.0-ed.

Yeah this one seems odd.

AGE -1 has problems with it's arm staying in for some people because of the peg length, and AGE-2 Legs have some stability issues because of the Trasformation design but, I've never heard anyone complain about the Articulation on any of the AGE MG's.
