oh i see. i didnt know you were using markers.
i always prefer regular paints over markers. although i still have some metallic gold spray paint... im will probably use that for my banshee.
if the bloody thing ever arrives that is >__> im not used to waiting for gunpla that long.

That's why I order from Amazon or GG Infinite. Shipping speeds are really good! :D

Speaking of which, I hope that my SD Age-1 (3 of them) and Action Base 2 gray (3 of them) arrive by Monday.

I might be in the mood to actually build GunPla. :D :D

well, yeah. when you live in america and you buy from a store in america, naturally the shipping wont take long >__> i have to import my models. that takes time.
the problem is that they screwed up my order. i pre-ordered the banshee with EMS shipping which usually takes a week. but because i ordered a different kit with SAL shipping their weird ordering system switched all my orders to SAL.
my MG RX-79(G) was here after 13 days. now im waiting for 3 weeks already. and im like a hyper and super impatient little kid when im waiting for packages... not to mention that it might end up at the customs office >__>

yea...sucks

i learned that lesson when i ordered from HLJ... the wait time + custom charge on my card... >_<

not worth it. good thing for amazon and my awesome friends at gg infinite. =D
by the way, what country do you live in? maybe i can find you a good online retailer or maybe ask gg infinite to hook you up...

naa im good. im happy with the HLJs prices and they have sales often enough to keep me satisfied :P
and besides, trading wont do us any good^^ the kits in america are too expensive for me and we both would have to wait ages for them to arrive. not to mention that all my packages from america have ended up at the customs office so far.

I guess. I never been to Europe. =P But it seems logical. =D
Why not just use the FedEx option at HLJ?

because its bloody expensive and only a little faster than EMS :P plus, EMS packages are being delivered by DHL express. they deliver stuff monday through saturday (fedex only monday through friday) and they deliver very early. usually before 8am. that means i get my package before going to work, i can pay the customs fees at my door and i dont have to go pick up anything. its pretty much ideal for me.

edit: HLJ also gives a permanent 20% discount on EMS shipping which makes it very affordable.
in some weird cases FedEx is less expensive than EMS but three weeks after your package was delivered they always send you a bill. you then have to pay the customs fees and delivery fees. that makes it a lot more expensive than EMS in total in every case.

You should try to set up business in Germany then. It'd be perfect opportunity since there isn't much, and I'm pretty sure if you have competitive pricing, good customer service, friendly & fast service, a good selection...a lot of people from Europe will probably buy from you instead of importing from Japan.

no thank you XD i really dont want to do that.
there is a reason why there are no good stores for gunpla here. its just isnt popular enough in europe. for example, in america you have bluefin which distributes bandais models in the US. here in germany we have bupkis. as far as i know bandai only distributes gunpla in italy.

Gundam Age-3 Normal
Gundam Age-3 Orbital --> probably the speed type
Gundam Age-3 Fortress --> probably the power type

Already posted in the other AGE thread. Then again, from the previous picture we've seen, the Orbital seems to have bulky lower legs and a huge ass cannon as well, so I doubt it's a speed type, which is puzzling.

EDIT: Found it.

Agreed with one that has a Seravee vibe, but Reborns for Orbital? Nah.. I don't.

Orbital looks the fastest among the three, but definitely doesn't look speedy like Zeydra. As far as I can remember, it has a long range rifle but can't see that in the pics.

HasuMasu 2012-04-13 23:42

Orbital and Fortress, huh? I like what I see.

Just because it has bulky lower legs doesn't mean it can't be a speed type - the Dom is one of the fastest ground-type MS in UC, and yet it has the fattest legs, and for a more recent example the Avalanche Exia from 00. The fact that the Orbital's feet are posed downward like the GNZ series kinda gives some hints as to its function, where it's being presented as a unit that's not meant to operate on the ground but in the air.

*looking at AGE-3's alternate forms*

Uh... purple combined with light blue? :uhoh:

Suddenly, the red-blue combination doesn't look that bad anymore. :heh:

GN0010 Nosferatu 2012-04-14 00:38

Where do you see purple?
