Unpainted Geara Zulu sample. Gotta love that gritty grunt look that bears a closer resemblance towards Wehrmacht troopers (complete with a Respirator and StG 44) than what the classic Zaks had hoped to achieve.

Awesome model, do you know the release date and the scale ?

Just wondering feel free to ignore this post but does anyone know of any websites or blogs that show how to make your gunpla look professional like?

Here are a collection of tutorials that I've made: http://gamerabaenre.com/toolsandtechs.htm

Here are progress pages for kits I have built over the years: http://gamerabaenre.com/in_progress.htm

Questions about techniques and how I did something are always welcomed!

it looks rather cool, imo it looks like a grown up child of seravee and the 00 gundam.

In view of the release of MW2, here's something for those who prefer contemporary militaristic design as oppose to the classics from bygone days :-

I don't know about anyone else, but I see an outline of Navy SEALs/SOCOMs armed with FN SCARs in that design. No doubt that this will see a HGUC release in the future.

And some headsup for those who miss their chance of a obtaining a Bazooka for their MG Sinanju :-

It seems that there will be a similar special bundle package for chinese translation of Unicorn Vol.8 set to be release next month. But with a cheaper pricing. Those living in East Asia will be in luck now.

its a excellent kit!:)

From what I've heard, the Rifle Bits dropout real easily. Now I'm stuck between rollout 0 Gundam and normal Cherudim. Anyone with suggestions?

God the Jesta looks so badass....the most menacing of the GM family tree if you ask me.

Agreed! Looks like it took some design cues from the unicorn, judging by the legs and arms.

the GM used by the Navy Seals?
who ever drew those army of Jestas in the background illustration sure is godly, :twitch: can't wait to see them in action in the anime, along with the Shamblo,

GameraBaenre 2009-11-08 03:32

Mid-weekend sneak peak...

The rifle primed. I'd say it looks a little more like a rifle now with the primer showing the entire thing in a single color.

Full weapons load

Yeah, that's a lit beam saber....

For those curious about said lit beam saber:

How did you make it look like that?

randus 2009-11-08 05:04

O.o That's one small "torchlight" you have there! How did you do that?

The beam parts are from Ver.Kas I presume?

I think I'm going to build my first Gundam. I'm thinking about buying HG Exia or Reborns. Are they good kits for a beginner? Or maybe you guys could give me some suggestion. Thank you

SonicSP 2009-11-08 07:48

HG Exia was my first HG.Pretty good, not too hard and all that.HG Reborns may be more complicated though.

ckthye86 2009-11-08 08:59

To me, MG Exia's decals were a headache...

Both kits seem to be the same level of difficulty. Exia's stickers are annoying, but they cover most of the necessary parts, and the rest can be painted after completion. As for Reborns, there are a lot of black linings that are much easier to paint before assembly, but it's hard to tell where some of them should without staring at a completed model! I completely missed the knee joint parts that should have been painted. :heh:
